Words are wonderful and have their time and place but without actions/behavior behind them they may be just a lip service. Ideally would be nice to have both - words said at the right moment (but not to the point of meaningless overusing) and actions that support those words.

Sadly, in my life I have come across a person or two who had no problem saying the words...Including in front of family and friends, in a very sincere manner. But they also (turned out) had no problem doing something so detrimental to the relationship that it ceased to continue. I have learned to look for true actions and behavior, as opposed for mere words. Talking the talk is good. Walking the walk (genuinely caring, loyalty, respect, compassion etc) in addition to words is true love. JMO

But if someone treats you really well then they dont have to say it !

I have lost count of the women who have told me they loved but none did.
Their actions never matched up to their words.

Words are cheap, actions mean everything............

I have had a guy not say it to me either. His actions did prove otherwise though. And I know they say actions speak louder than words, but it would be nice to hear those 3 words as well...Love is only a 4 letter word, but it means sooooo much more....Maybe you should talk with him again, especially if it is really bothering you. You do have what some women would kill for....He does sounds like a great guy....He's a keeper....Debbie
