I think you win....to see the Beatles...would have been awesome....However seeing Floyd probably wont happen..they reformed for the Live Aid concert in 05 but Gilmour/Waters didnt even stand next to each other stage..if you watch the dvd ..the body language screams heaps...closest you will seeing Floyd I reckon is each touring separately ..shame
Enigma...how lucky was your sister...to see Nirvana...Cobain is a icon....

Posted: 5/10/2008 3:36:01 AM | KISS won ticket to their concert in n.z from radio station on the morning of concert. mates brother wanted to go but didn't have the funds so gave him my ticket. for my effort he got a signed poster from them and had his kiss army membership signed again. they thought it was great that someone still has their kiss army membership and 2 full sets of the origional kiss dools. missed them again in 200 as went camping with mates and house mate rang saying they found out they were selling tickets at the gate. they got gold passes for the price of silver.
missed the crowded house one a few months back as i had my son that night and his mother wouldn't have him so i could go.

| Bands you wished you'd seen !! Posted: 5/16/2008 9:53:30 PM | Being a child of the 80s the bands I have never seen but wish I had:
Talking Heads - just for the vast array of killer sounds they have (once in a lifetime, psycho killer, and she was, wild wild life) and the CD Stop Making Sense gives an indication that they would have been awesome live
The Smiths - seeing Johnny Marr playing with Modest Mouse demonstrated the combination of him and Morrissey would have been brilliant. I think it is hard to describe the impact of The Smiths in the 80x; an awesome lyrical band with the right cynicism for a bleak period politically.
And hearing "There is a Light that never goes out" live will be just spine tingling
The The - (has to be the Infected tour) Infected is one of my favourite albums and is tragic that Matt Johnson (he plays under The The) is not known more
