| The Quilt Posted: 3/9/2008 9:49:31 AM | bright the day now friends arrived great rays to warm a cold day....
Thanks chums. Nice to see you here. It was a long weekend, the St. Pat merriment has begun, lots of fun, meeting new people here and there - and one in particular was nice to find - but mostly it is nice to return to new friends, new lives now firmly planted in this garden.
erotic is spring the planting the sowing we stretch to open wider in longing of warmth we plunge deeper to seek the sweetness of meaning yes lay me down on the ground of need yes lay me across the waters thrusting wantonness my wings springtime my soul

| The Quilt Posted: 3/9/2008 10:13:24 AM | A- you bring me skies wide and wild filled with clouds of colors and pieces of yourself now part of me patchworked to the garment of me softly flowing silken threads do join us sky and cloud tulip and bluebonnet what floats now between us invisible as thought and meaningful as breath | |
|
| The Quilt Posted: 3/9/2008 10:21:26 AM | R- your dancing words create an inner lining a fine grace shaping my minutes the breath of you a leaking dawn slowly spreading light across the darkness of lonely hours the surrounding air now full of hope | |
|
| The Quilt Posted: 3/11/2008 12:54:20 AM | Wild indigo dingoes march up the cliff Forgetting never never land and All that puke flavored jazz Making a cacophony Of Swiss cheese melting Sound in my ear NOOOO DON’T Let me stroll past you In alligator skin flip flops w/ ginseng engorgement While chugging mead and laughing with volatility Thoughts are as gurglings from a polluted Well She be Keeper of Flame and I Warrior of Twilight

| The Quilt Posted: 3/12/2008 3:03:14 AM | It's not on sale, Friendship, This year. Not give and take. Not a handshake and a wink. Not trade-off.
I love flowers, Even if they do die. And Springtime, Even thought it burns off. And you, Who will also go.
|
| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/12/2008 9:06:24 PM | simple softness of acceptance his words stay with me reading them again i am touched more such gentle words full of freedom such kind words full of hope but oh… they are not always easy words lightness in the dark powerful and powerless complex yet oh so simple words that bring deliverance simple softness of acceptance | |
|
| The Quilt Posted: 3/13/2008 11:47:44 AM | lunar, you keep my mind spinning to new places i never would have gone to!!!! i think we'd do well at a campfire, with a devotional moment of mead and music and some dancing 'round the fire..... in alligator flip flops of course!!!!
sometimes the very room seems to heave with effort to breathe the wires from the machines found more orifices than I knew existed i sneak in past visiting time because who dies according to schedule? i want to hope, see green halos around your head, pretend pretend something in you still grows, still does not want to die but you do. you couldn't help yourself. life is short. forgetting you will be a long time coming. through my tears, i see a fly walking up the wall behind you and i know just how small i am, walking up life with my seeking arms
|
| The Quilt Posted: 3/13/2008 12:03:00 PM | Expat, hello there. love the completeness, the cycle of your thought. thanks so much for stopping by...
death has crossed my path twined my deepest roots cost me seasons of abundance but i move with sun in my veins from fragments of your sky with the taste of your light rainbowing my tongue.... and slowly move into joy

| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/13/2008 12:32:33 PM | Silver, lovely words here!
Upon the silent edge of night stands a heart of dark of night For once upon a mighty story love did ride in all its glory! Falsehoods led her way so long like the mentors minds so strong Left to find her way is real Lifting up to know she feels What is left inside precious! What she holds a secret left Hearts of pain no not to wander yet they always seek, discover for her heart is still Alive If not alive... she would not speak! Simple softness of acceptance given to all ... It is precious' Accept ' know All is good! This is love in sisterhood!

| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/13/2008 5:05:35 PM | It’s getting to be a long time Since I met you. Seems it gets better, Like shoes. I learn from you. I look up to you. I care an awful lot about you. It’s getting to be a long time.
Used to be We were new to each other Super exciting Sort of strange Now a part of me Has come to be Because of you
A special kind of growing I’ve done To meet you Across so many distances
And it’s been good Good to know you Good to know you see all of me Good to quiet my heart And let that person out Not very many people Have seen that person these days The part of me who wants to know When the games stop …and just being begins
It’s getting to be a long time

| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/13/2008 8:06:39 PM | | "taste of your light rainbowing my tongue" u may call urself a swan but your words fly with the eagles (if not intergalactic albatrosses LOL). ... and yes when i finally resume the freedom of the open road again a bonfire emblazened baachanal would definetley be in order. | |
|
| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/13/2008 11:25:31 PM | I like the thought of that... intergalactic albatross..... other galaxies might prove more fertile ground for this old batty bird.
my desires are my very own private not for public consumption the tree hides much behind the bark sweet meat soft sap deep roots and branches where defiance hangs in this now last ribbon of sun
the stage darkens slowly
no applause but the critics loved me
|
| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/13/2008 11:42:22 PM | this tree hides litle top half split open by lightning strike laid open bare charred and exposed half way down a large hole owls roost one could stick their fist right in just be aware of bees nest hangin from limb comb dripping of honey afflutter with stingers from the bringers who call it home even has a few old initials carved deep in plain view for all the world to see it hides not its decay but surrenders not to the rot this aging wood shall thrive on bent but not broke still does new growth shoot forth from its base saplings stretching out toward sunshine. Oh when will it rain? | |

| simple softness of acceptance Posted: 3/14/2008 12:55:15 AM | or should i just laugh with the clowns and spurn the wind's fury and caress the rapid river and laugh at angry seagulls and wink at the devil and spurn the risky river and caress the laughing wind and laugh while winking with the clowns and devils laughter like cymbals rivers like riots winds like caresses spurning the seagulls who riot like devils or should i just laugh with the clowns because winking spurns the fury of the devil? | |

| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/14/2008 7:05:35 AM | when lunar light strikes the swan wonderous words swell

| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/14/2008 9:28:06 AM | suddenly i see why i love this
the dark side of the moons reflected on this pond the thoughts captured and released these word hunters with arrows that never wound healing truths that help me find home in the dark
|
| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/14/2008 10:25:20 PM | ^^u sly swan u^^
finding my home in the dark the path eclipsed but far from blind or lost in the shadows can one step boldly brushing past the boogey(wo)man blowing kisses to lycanthrope teasing succubi and pickpocketing ghosts TO STEAL LINKS FROM THEIR CHAINS learning to walk through the night so as to one day run free again in broad days light
|
| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/15/2008 12:38:55 AM | there are pieces of me inside these words pieces just learning to walk after years of crawling and only under the new moon will i let you see me where stars dance over the slumbering mountains i no longer climb
and i will wait for you at the edge of this river on the shore of this line the ice wraiths holding the keys to my chains i'll not chance the thin ice no nor leap the rushing floes those wedges of failure broken from my heart of wild beauty
hiding in plain sight under a waterfall of unstructured pain i only expect to meet dragons who when they find me will leer and whisper "yes it's true, yes it's true, you are ugly"
|
| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/15/2008 12:59:18 PM | swan.... your beauty radiates thru your words
your spirit so playful creative, exciting
allow yourself to be who you've become
ugly duckling you are not
expect only the best for that is what you deserve
you are too beautiful for words r.
|
| reversing the spell... Posted: 3/15/2008 7:27:23 PM | time is a smooth shell a temporary lodging where we hide best what matters
how long does a day linger in your hands? if you carry it long enough will you find truth or beauty?
don't kid yourself
ahhhh here comes the rain to change everything
