Posted: 4/5/2008 10:01:49 AM | I am confirmed...I will definately be there tonight....as I was last night...lol...Thought I would jump the gun a little, get in asome two stepping practice, etc...Will say, I was a little disappointed last night...Seemed like about all they wanted to do was line dances...almost all night...They even lined danced to songs that were never meant to be lined danced to....Never heard a single Toby Keith, Brad Paisely, Gretchen Wilson or Trace Adkins song. So, all in all, guess I am gonna be there to meet friends, etc. If dancing to country music, two stepping, waltz, western promenade, or western swing is in the cards, we will have to get together sometime later, dance at another club.
It was a really big place...was nice, and was a pretty good environment. However, would love to do something other than line dances.
See you all tonight...You ladies out there that like to get out on the floor for anything but line dances, please look me up....

Posted: 4/5/2008 10:07:42 AM | If you ask the DJ, they will play other stuff. Usually about 10:30 the younger crowd comes in and they tend to play more hip=hop country. I have rarely had the DJ fail to play a request.
By the way, they do have food, typical bar stuff, certainly not fine dining, you can eat for less than $10
I can line dance, but would rather do a two step, east coast swing, country waltz, cowboy chacha or a schotische. Any takers? | |

Lastly, I also met a outstanding dance partner last night, not only was she a great dance partner, but she was also a Breathlessbeauty....
Maybe I am onto something here...hope so.

The birthday girls could not stop talking about the best birthday ever! I for one enjoyed meeting you all and hope we stay in touch. We will be back for the next one.
