| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 5/27/2008 5:15:13 PM | | Even with a viable third party candidate the new president will have to contend with the two party congress. A president or congress alone cannot make it work. With that said when was the last time our entire elected government worked together to solve problems. The process of running for office has fragmented so much that everyone tries to satisfy a small niche while ignoring the overall interests of the country. Where does it stop? | |

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 5/27/2008 6:18:25 PM | DesertFox We need a viable 3rd party Canidate to step in. I can't run 'til '16.
I hate McCain. I hate Obama. I really REALLY REALLY REALLY hate Hillary.
The only reason I'll vote is for who I believe is the least of the evils, who IMO, is probably Obama. Thank God that the Supreme Court will still protect our second amendment.
and where's Al Gore when you need him? He's too busy perpetuating the myth of global warming and inventing the Internet. Leave him be, he's happy and feels he has a purpose.
I hate politics, and I'll be glad when all this BS is over so we can continue our downward spiral at a more reasonable rate.

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/1/2008 9:47:09 AM | The loyality of the Clinton supporters is related to the fact that she is the first viable woman candidate to run for the domination. If you look at the remaining women in the Democratic party who would be next in line to have a chance at running for the office of President?
I think the divison in the party is not good for the party. Will it damage the democrats chance of winning the White House? Only time will tell.
I do perdict that the next president will be a one term president. In light of the problems facing the country at this time I think the next president will be crucified by the critics and will have to battle the congress every step of the way.

Black supporter of Clinton -slave mentality
White-can not accept a black in a position of power.
hispanic-we are friends as long as we are in the ghetto's and barrios together. But, once we are out of the hood 'white is right'.

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/1/2008 2:28:55 PM | | It's a purely symbolic election. In the end none of them has the guts to tell the truth and no problem that can't be solved before the next election will be addressed. The dollar is worthless and their answer is to send us a stimulus package of worthless money. People don't want to hear the truth because they might have to suffer a little discomfort to clean up this mess. Instead we'll all put on our red or blue uniforms, grab our pom poms, vote our prejudices and pretend it will make an iota of difference. | |

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/2/2008 2:50:08 PM | | This election is anything what symbolic. This is a historic moment in politics and the democrats are working hard to mark the moment by dividing the party in half. It is the Democrats possibly losing the White House in a time when the Republican White House holds ho confidence with the American voters or the rest of the world. Hillary Clinton may destroy the unity among Democrats that Obama will need to win this election. It is a shame that Clinton is placing her ego before the interests of our country. | |

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/3/2008 6:33:05 AM | | Well, the R's certainly don't want to win, just like they didn't want to win the Gubernatorial race in Ohio 2 years ago. There is no short term fix for the problems we've gotten ourselves into, and in a world economy, the President and Congress can do very little to effect change quickly. Since the American people have been trained that "they" will fix all their problems, the R's want the D's to be "them" for at least the next 4 years. Of course the strategy hasn't worked well in Ohio, because Strickland has done a good job, but if the R's win the Presidency, I think everyone will blame Mark Dann. | |

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/3/2008 1:59:15 PM | I can't say any of the candidates really excites me and would make me want to join their campaign. I'll probably vote for the candidate that I think will screw me the least. I guess in this case it'll be whichever Democratic candidate wins the nomination. All of the candidates are bought and paid for. In my case it seems the Dems. were bought by those who are considering my interests. Want to find out where the candidate stands? Follow the money trail...... | |

| Good luck Ohio tomorrow with the Presidential Election Posted: 6/6/2008 6:34:58 PM | | It will be interesting to see who Obama picks as a running mate. My opinion is that the next president will be a one term president. The reason I think the long standing pattern of two term presidency will come to an end is simply that the nation is on the brink of a national emergency. I sense the next president will struggle and no matter what will be viewed as a scapegoat for all the problems we will see unfold in the next two years. If I were a politican I would rather not be associated with a president that is viewed as a failure as this experince would ruin any politican aspirations the future VP may have. Only the bottom feeders will want the job? | |
