LMAO,,, I wouldn't go as far as saying that,, I agree OP knew what she was doing, and blaming the guy,, however, I don't care how innocent that guy might have been,, he could have been a little respectful, and a least made a phone call,, but his big boy pants on and say,, hey I had a good time,, but we agreed no sex,, how that happened, well it just did,, but I'm really not into you,, for what ever reason..the same token OP needs to take some responsabilty as well. as the man should have.. | |

It doesn't make her a bad woman,, A woman who sleeps with a man on the 1 or 10th date deserves respect, in that, the guy could have just picked up the phone,, so if judging a woman who has sex on any date is wrong,, they have a right to do as they please,, and it should not be just a guy thing,, saying look at me I scored,, that is just as bad, meaning that man certainly does not gain my respect,, because that is in my opinion the true sense of using a woman, not saying OP didn't use the guy,, I have no clue.. I'm not saying the guy used OP either..
But if a man and woman have sex, and can't look each other in the eyes when it's all said and done,, that is a coward, that is not man,,again I don't agree with OP,, but I can't think of any man I know who was ever used for sex on the first date... the same way I can't fathom a man being raped by a woman........ he may get beat up,, but you can't force a hard on,, at least I can't..........I can make one go away,, but I can't force one,, so I would say, OP didn't use this man, if it was hard he wanted it....
Again OP needs to stick to her rules, that didn't happen, now she feels used,, that's to bad for her,, I don't have empathy for that.. therefore blaming men for her actions is certainly wrong in my opinion... | |

If that's the case those women might be better off with this,,,

Posted: 12/2/2008 8:11:56 PM | IMO, there is nothing wrong with a woman just wanting sex; just don't confuse it with a relationship. If you're attracted to someone and willing to sleep with him on the first date, well, that's fine. We're all human and we feel urges; nothing to be ashamed of. It's just when people (I'm not singling you out) consider sex as some kind of bargaining chip that problems begin.
I have this crazy theory that men grow up knowing that there is a difference between sex and love; and they don't need to coexist all the time. I can love someone without ever wanting to sleep with them and I can have an urge to have sex with a woman even if I don't know her name. So how come women can't have the same urges? Well, some books will explain that it's a genetic trait going back thousands of years. Promiscuous men spread their genetic code more often and women bare children so they seek strong providers and become more monogamous (interesting theory, don't shoot the messenger). Anyway, I wonder if that may be a reason that many women are attracted to a man and want to start a "relationship" when in fact, it's just a physical attraction; nothing else. Just go with it.... trust your feelings.
On a personal note, I'm a bit old fashioned (or maybe I'm just getting old). I'm not saying I'd be turned off by a woman wanting to sleep with me on the first night, but I'd probably appreciate someone more if they'd slow down a bit and give us a chance to know each other. Sigh..... I am getting old. | |

Posted: 12/3/2008 6:53:02 AM | I'm not going to read 37 pages, but having stumbled across this thread, a few thoughts occur to me.
First, I doubt seriously that the "problem" is that you "had sex too soon". In fact, both of you saved a lot of time in discovering that, for whatever reason, you don't "connect" sexually in a way that creates an intimate bond.
There are those with whom one makes love, and there is a "cosmic" sense of oneness, and then others, where you feel that you'd rather be masturbating, and just want to get it over with, so you can leave. I can't deconstruct that feeling, but sometimes, with some women, sex just isn't that intimate, so you aren't a "match".
If the sex were good, most men would continue to date a woman, until there were other "issues" that outweighed the good.
The guy was a jerk, for not being a bit more gallant. I know that there have been women, who I knew weren't my match, but I'd still make the right gestures the next day, and gradually allow things to fade out. Just never calling again is a crappy way to do things, once you've become lovers. | |

What the question to the OP is u need to give more details to how it really started that got you into the bedroom. What you put down was not much info more like a quickie story. LOL
The reason why i use players, because of my research and understand into days times women are more likely to run into a player than to get into a car accident or get robbed. Thats why i put the player spin to it, but i could be wrong this could have been just a regular one night stand as it looks to be.
But the op needs to be more in detail how the guy got her into this or the fact how she really felt about him?
as to the person who said sex wasnt good or its all about sex to be makea connection. sounds like you needa lesson in dating 101. first off women can be tought how we like its as well as what she likes so if you base yourreleation ships off how experiance a woman is you must not get much then. releation ship are not all about sex people. its more than that. its about whats inside a person not what you can put inside her. its about feelings its about how you feel about each other that makes a relation ship. but if yourjust out to screw every woman to find miss perfect sex slave then your not daitng your whoring your self out. its called "male he whore" a guy who cant get satifaction from just one woman. | |

That all seems unlikely of what I know of men,, but it is possible, because I have known some men who are that shy and do not know how to handle an aggressive woman..while adding, he might have stay with her because he didn't want to hurt her feeling, yet was a coward the following day by not calling her, in the same token he may have felt embarrassed by his response and feeling uncomfortable with a woman who just seduced him, not against his will, but by using his nice guy, shyness against him,, there are women players as well,, Therefore, OP is pissed because her plan backfired.. If you wanted something with this man you don't have to please him by jumping his bones. Respect yourself and be direct and straitforward about what your intentions are. So what if he decides to run if you didn't give into sex. At least you own it to yourself for following your heart. That's the kind of man you don't want to be with anyway. You'll need someone who doens't act like a **** for not wanting to see you as a person and to learn and know all about you or to decide to delvelope a relationship with you. If you were only interested in the sex without the serious relationship part then count your blessings if you got anything out of it. If not stand true to yourself and be upfront about what you're looking for. We all make mistakes and learn from them. It's all part of being human. I wish you well on your next date. Hope you find the right one for you.
