It's a lost cause and it seems no one is honest anymore, - kindness and manners being a thing of the past. I prefer not to take part in the dog eat dog world of dating. I'm much happier when I'm not expected to jump through hoops trying to please men. I'm pleased with myself just the way I am. I would love and welcome a like-minded, long term companion, but I don't need just any man to validate me as an intelligent and desirable woman. I've got that covered. If a man treats me like his princess, I treat him like a king.
