Posted: 3/11/2008 2:04:50 PM | Harrassment takes a LONG time to work through the court and is difficult to prove. Trust me they will say they were just saying hello
and you will spend a TON of money on lawyers.
And the judge will say, "she's just a woman, she can't hurt you and you are not dead."
She will probably claim some type of harrassment too.
Its like dealing with a bully.
Tell the mom to stop calling you and get over it and leave you alone
Block the number and ignore her - she is trying to pick a fight with you and get a response. IF you pick up the phone, hang it up immediately, do NOT talk. Do it multiple times, DO NOT TALK to anyone in the family. Or screen calls and don't answer. Skip forward over any messages. Cancel some of your phone numbers. Ask the phone company for a new number for harrassment (usually a fee).
If she escallates
Tell her the next time she calls you, you will start calling her at her work and at 3am, document and tape everything.
