I think this approach appeals to men. Women like to see the real thing. That is why we love to shop. In a mall with stores. So a face to face is much more appealing to me. And I don't like to describe myself with a "feature list".

In the "real world" we usually get to know someone face to face. Most of the time we will usually be attracted to people with like personalities and likes/dislikes and stay away from those who offend or annoy us.

Since we are meeting in cyperspace we have to leave it up to the person's honesty to let us see their personality through their words.

Either way you could be taken for a ride...in real life and onlien we take one look at someone and decide right from what they look like if we are interestred...not from what they have to say...it is sad but true, anyone who say's that they have not done this at least once is totally lying.

Yes it is perfered to have all the right information and you hope that the person is being honest with you, but remember it is just as easy (for some people) to lie to your face then it is online.
Really when you think about it, there is wanting what you like and being too picky...only you know which is which.
