this is a very upscale venue
this will be a huge change from the type of venues usually frequented at London POF events.
i think people should dress for success
there is a dress code and people not following it will not be admitted
frankly i think people would do better to dress up a bit too much than not enough
tank tops, ripped jeans/shorts/sweatpants/baggystyle clothing/flipflops etc are not acceptable.
when i went there last night the average gentleman was wearing slacks with a dress shirt | |

as for the hats, shawn of a B, honestly, i think for this party you're gonna have to suck it up and not wear one for the night - trust me when i say, this place is ultra classy and definately has a dress code and i dont think a hat would fly - and i'd hate to have you take the hat off and come in with hathead. No hats means no hats - be it baseball caps or cowboy hats. Better just not to wear one. I spoke to the manager the other day about dress code, and I do know they will be turning those away that are dressed inappropriately. I'd feel pretty stinky if that happened.
on that note, i realize that there are gonna be people that are peeved that this club has a dress code especially since the average event in london doesnt have one - to that i say, the whole reason i selected this venue is because i wanted to host a classier event here in london and thought it would give us all a good excuse to dress up - i'll tell you, this club is sooo nice, heck, i'd be willing to move into their bathrooms - its beautiful. I really think people are going to love this place, be it the fantastic dj, great non-stop music, the facilities, the seating area, etc. | |

ha - you're lucky
you couldn't pay me to wear a dress, they make my butt look big (or is it my butt makes my butt look big - i dunno - lol)
but i guess i'm gonna have to figure out something dressy to wear, heck i havent worn a dress in over 10 years - maybe i need to get out there and find one that looks good
what i think we need are some designated men to be the dress checkers and come with us as we pick out new outfits to wear - any offers gentlemen?
