They are ready and waiting for our group - they will have extra staff and such.
There is a $5 cover but you will NEED to tell the person taking the cover $ that you are with POF (or say "Katrina's group") and you will get a FREE DRINK TICKET. So that kinda wipes out the cover charge!
Their will be promo's from Miller and other beer companies (ie giveaways, teeshirts, beads, etc.....).
They are gonna have various drink specials and stuff like that.
Should be a great night! Bring friends or come alone - don't be shy! See ya there!

Have any of you ever been to Quigleys in downtown N-ville? Ive never been at night but used to go for lunch and a Guiness quite often.
Anyway, I wanted to address the comment about the guys being shy.
No one has EVER accused me of being shy. Maybe I should work on that?

Posted: 4/7/2008 7:36:54 PM | I can't make it that night....I just booked a wedding that same night in D.G til 11:30, please take me off the attending list, however, I will say you guys should have a blast at Hot Shots.......I'm there a few times a week (mostly for trivia or Texas Hold'em)
It's a very big place with very LITTLE bathrooms - you may want to think about "taking care of businss" before going there, especially on band night when the place is completely packed

But with the drink ticket, the giveaways and all the fun people, it negates the cheap $5 cover. Going to have to look for a place to crash tho as I dont want to drive home after drinking. Anybody nearby know a cheap crash pad? Drop me a mail here if you do.

Guys, a little hint: t he biggest comment I get from the women after these POF parties is that no one (or only one) person hit on them. If you see a lady you have chatted with, or just plain want to meet - GO FOR IT!!!!! Life is too short to WISH you had done it!! Ask her to dance, buy her a drink - or I dunno, say hello!!!!
At the last POF party there were like 8 single, attractive women dancing out there and all the men were just watching. Get out there!!!
PS, that includes me  Come see me with cold Coors Light and we'll become friends quickly I'm sure!!

I had sent an email to a few people who expressed they didn't want to go in alone and I never heard back from them...so I will just post it for everyone to see!
I will be in Naperville that day so if anyone would like to meet for appetizers or dinner and a drink before hand.... I was thinking of meeting someplace on Diehl Rd by the AMC theatre it's off of I88..you can either take the 59 south exit or Winfield rd. Let me know if anyone wants to meet and we can all look lost walking into together lol.
It's my first POF event as well but it sounds like it will be fun! | |
