I just recently went on my first date from this site and I thought it went ok but I was wrong so I'm making this party my last hurah. If I don't meet anyone or anything remotly close to possibly trying to get a date, I'm done with this site. I'm not angry by any means either. I just think it might be time to try something different if no possibilitys happen. Maybe I should just try the bar scene again even though I don't drink lol | |

I'm sorry your date didn't go as you had hoped for. Trust me, I think a lot of people have had that happen to them in the past, I know I have!
I just chalk it up as dating 101 and never go on a first date with too many expectations. I just try to have a more of a "wait and see attitude" when I meet people. I think the party sounds fun and you never know you may hit it off with someone... and if you don't at least you made some new friends...right? | |

I just called Rock Bottom and you have to have at least 8 people to make a reservation on a weekend.
According to mapquest it's 4 miles from hot shots. So if anyone is interested let me know and if we have enough people I will make a reservation. | |

I think about 6:30-7 ish sounds good to meet! I will be in Naperville that day for a charity event but I will make sure I am there at 6:30. If It's nice come find me outside on the patio! Like I said, if I have at least 8 people I can make a reservation and we can either do drinks or dinner. I have a feeling I am going to eat though before going out! Posted: 4/24/2008 8:49:45 PM | Never been to a POF anything...I have been to Hot Shots quite a few times. I work in the area and work people and I used to do happy hours there now and then. Its a decent place to hangout and relax. Free darts, decent pool tables...the live band might make it hard to mingle and actually hold a convo...but it should be a fun time.
I guess I'm in...Look forward to meeting everyone that attends.
Oh BTW the Red Roof is not the best/closest hotel in the area. It isn't 3-4 miles away either. I would say its no more then 2 miles away. The better choices would be across the street on Deihl road. Not only are the hotels WAY nicer, but there is a Cracker Barrel in their parking lot. I am not sure of the hotel names because they have changed and I rarely sleep in hotels, but I know they make the Red Roof look like a roach motel.....the prices are not bad either.....did I mention the Cracker Barrel in the parking lot? | |
