| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 6:43:58 PM | Well of course I would leave....like everyone else who is serious about finding their true love. After all that is the point of all this....Finding the ONE.
Once you've found them, why keep searching. Besides, we wouldn't have time for cyberspace, we'd be too busy discovering and enjoying each other to log on here.

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 8:55:00 PM | I see a lot of you "THINK" that for someone to be in a serious relationship they shouldn't be on here Fish'n, well most that I have come in contact with that are in a serious relationship aren't Fish'n!!
Some live in rural areas, others maybe can't or won't get out of their home, maybe they work from home.....etc.......????? and Y'all have to admit, there is some pretty good freak'n amusement on here, including my own writes.......lmao
In my opinion and experience, some people here can have pretty damnn good advice and might help in seeing things or issues in a different light?!!
Good Luck to y'all......there is someone for everyone!!!
Off Topic:
Thank You "Gandi" we both set down and contributed to Our profile, we have been blessed to have such Honesty in Love and really think that someone, somewhere could see that and have hope in finding the same!!!!.......
edited to add: Trust that we do have other things to do with our time and POF Sex Forums has enlightened and enhanced that area!!!!!......

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 9:05:55 PM | | Allow me to redeem myself and clarify.......IF I truly believed I had found a girl that was capable of commitment and TRULY intended to make it work then I would be compelled to leave this site as I did for two years last time. However that is a HELL of a lot of trust to build up after what I've seen so far. When I find someone that understands me and is on the same exact page as I, that's the day my profile goes byebye. | |

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 10:05:34 PM | I agree with you aznoelle 100%. I've hidden my profile because I'm in love with the person I met on here but he's been married/divorced 3 times now and says there won't be a #4 (I just found this out this past weekend). Unfortunately for me, this revelation has come a little too late since I fell in love with him over 2 months ago. He still has his profile up as "LOOKING FOR A COMPANION". When I ask him why, he just says he hasn't had time to change it to anything else.....hmmmmmmm.......think he's just lying to me like all the rest I've met on here so far. What do you think? | |

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 10:11:01 PM | Most definitely I would if we were both committed in the relationship and I felt that I could trust him. Trust is very hard to earn when you've been hurt so many times. I'd delete my profile completely if I thought for one second that I had found my soul mate instead of just hiding it for now. | |

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 10:40:42 PM | I read through all the messages here, and while I understand the need for social discussion, it astounds me that there is no other outlet for that other than POF. The guy throwing away all his communication devices?? Odd as well. I realize that it was said with sarcasm, but the reference to a jealous obsessed female is rather insulting.
I'd leave the site in a heartbeat. Period. POF is simply a vehicle.
Enjoy All!

| Would you leave the dating sites if you got in a serious relationship? Posted: 3/11/2008 11:42:57 PM | First, I have stopped actively looking. I come here just to post on this page and share thoughts and ideas. Second, nobody looks at my profile...I've dumbed it down pretty much. I'd be surprised if anybody took a flyer on me. Three, this is the only site I knowingly have a profile. I nuked a bunch of others...but I don't know if I got them all. Four....I do believe I have met somebody. She lives 60 miles away, and we've only hung out twice, one of those times was the night we met....but the energy is good. I've made a great impression on her kids, and her co-workers and I haven't had to do anything but by myself.
Oh hell yeah...if she said "Paul, you have to nuke your POF profile", I'd do so in a heartbeat.

As much as I enjoy the forums, if I found my ideal I would be outta here faster than shit through a goose.
thats pretty fast............................lolz!!!!
your only as strong as the tables you dance on the drinks you mix and the friends you roll with, why should i have to give up something fun just because I'm entering a relationship.......isn't that what the not single/not looking tab is for???????
