| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 7:04:57 AM | Loool If you like her wax it. Not many women like overly hairy men. | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 7:31:44 AM | | yeah, nothing like reaching over to scratch somebody's back for the first time and finding fur. it happened to me. it was hard not to recoil... very, very hard. hairy backs are extremely unattractive but that's just my own personal opinion. if you're comfortable with it, by all means, enjoy. your only real choices are to (a) find a lady that doesn't mind, or (2) shave that sucker down. i know of no easy way to broach the subject. you can't really say anything on a first date because, for one thing, it immediately presumes a certain level of physical intimacy is inevitable, which is not only gross but inappropriate. on the other hand, i certainly wouldn't wait until the relationship evolves to the point where it will be discovered without any forewarning. i suggest either working it into the conversation while the relationship is still more casual and detached, or keeping your back nice and un-hairy for the remainder. | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 6:01:01 PM | | Yes, but it's important to condition daily and give it a hot oil treatment at least twice monthly according to hair experts. | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 7:03:25 PM | Sorry to hear that happend. If your happy with the way you are then find someone who accepts you just the way you are.I personally think hairy backs are kinda gross.Sorry, but I'm being honest.I believe most or at least half of women agree, but definetly not all..However, if I really liked the guy it wouldnt matter cause I'd be able to get them to wax it off if it botherd me that bad.I've got that effect Dont say anything up front.Just be yourself. If she really likes you, a hairy back shouldnt matter. If it does then ya dont want to waste your time on her anyway | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 7:10:15 PM | so hairy backs are out, that would explain why i don't get dates, they see the hair on the arms, and the mustache, and conclude i have a hairy back ( which i do)
well this bites. i'm guessing the same with the front being hairy is a big no no, now i can visualize the movie, 40-yr old virgin, waxing scene,
good luck trying to get me to do that. i think alot of ppl need to realize that its genetics sometimes and you should be after the person for the personality ( i know thats complete bullshit in the real world)

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 9:36:01 PM | rigcrawler,
Are you going to tell me that you date women who don't shave?
Seriously?
Are you going to tell me that you prefer and are 100% accepting and welcoming of women with bushy armpits, hairy legs, bushy bikini areas, full mustaches AND a bushy unibrow???
And men with hairy bodies want sympathy while women are out getting brazilian waxes, tweezing eyebrows until their eyes tear since their teens and shaving skin off their legs because they tried to shaved too close? ALL THE TIME FOR YEARS!
hold up your hand, rub your index finger to your thumb and look at it...do you know what that is?
The world's smallest violin.
There are places that (for a fee) will take care of that for you...if you want it badly enough.
But do it for yourself. Not for the woman you want to attract. Meanwhile work on the other parts of your anatomy (like working out), your personality, your education, your self esteam, your manners...
The rest will take care of itself. She will come up to you. She will like you no matter what.
But you too, don't be so quick to judge a less than perfect woman.
Nuff said. | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/23/2008 9:56:03 PM | Ron...? Ron Jeremy?!?!?
I didn't think you had a problem scoring with women...
HIGH FIVE to Val ^^^^^
As a bearded man I know that 50% of women out there will NEVER date me. That's life. But at least it isn't a hidden feature like three testicles or something else....

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/24/2008 9:05:31 PM | | The older I get, the less something like that matters. If a guy has good hygiene and grooming I'm fine with that. Women's priorities change as we get older. | |

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 7/24/2008 9:24:34 PM | This is how i see it........
Girls!!!!! want a guy who looks like some Hollywood movie star, all buff , with hardly any body hair, or they get that lazer hair treatment to get rid of it.
Women!!! will look past this and see a guy for who he is, and not just his body hair....

Can't a woman see the guy for who he is and then offer to pay for laser treatments, or is that still a girl? :)
Come on! Imagine sleeping with a girl with tons of back and butt hair. If you're still digging it, then ok. You got me. Body hair obviously isn't a big deal to you then. It isn't to me either...although I would offer to pay for the laser treatments.

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 8/10/2008 1:35:16 PM | *blushes* I can't even post a comment that will make sense as I have gotten so excited reading all the men's descriptions of their body hair that it's my vagina doing the typing.

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 8/11/2008 9:45:27 AM | It is a sensitive issue, and people think, act and react differently.
I would try also a smart approach after this experienced disappointment and too late discovery.
Don't they say that you have to try before you buy? Make the right questions in the right time and it might spare you more disappointments.
I was born in the year of the Saigonese Cat, but I don't feel a bit related to cats licking fur and throwing fur balls. It definitely grosses me out too, and I would like to know before being hitted, unless you would really laser it because you would feel yourself good and secondly you would not have to keep doing it over and again.
For me? Only a decently groomed gotee please - bald heads be ready I will fall in love with ya, and I am also not expecting you to floss your teeth on my hairs... I am smooth Brazilian with a tiny of German... Sorry I don't feel like I could cope dating, much less be living, with a human gorilla. Evolution has happened to the human specie for a reason, and I don't have the thrill to experience it backwords... Do you belong to pro-fur? Good, then please look for your pro-fur fellows... I am ok with.

| Hair is back and this time it's personal Posted: 8/11/2008 3:20:00 PM | I consider myself a very lucky guy, over my time on this imperfect world full of imperfect people, I have found love 3 times with women who have never tried wielding a razor anywhere near my back, chest, legs or chin.
Fellow hairy men, never give up hope, there are plenty of real women out there who simple haven't felt the need to proclaim their satisfaction with hairy men, maybe cos they don't see it as an issue. Perhaps only women with multiple issues feel the need to public condemn natural hairyness. Oh and yes I have no problem with my lady skipping the shaving/waxing for a day or a week or the rest of her life.
Let it grow

| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 8/11/2008 7:13:10 PM | | If I thought the girl was worth it I'd probably just wax it. | |
|
| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 8/11/2008 10:37:05 PM | | Hairy backs do not bother me. I was married to a man that was VERY hairy, I thought at first that it would bother me, the first few times that I saw him shirtless, but I became accustomed to it. Now, it seems vain (JMO) for a man to shave or wax it. I guess that I just like them natural. I don't like to even think of a sweaty hairy man, grooming is very important to me, Hairy or not. | |
|
| HAIRY BACKS Posted: 8/13/2008 6:21:30 AM | Funny... some hairy men here seem to have taken personal offense to taste and preference that differs from theirs... how come?
If you're happy with your hairy self, why bother in criticize those who have expressed an explanation for the aversion for (excessive) hair?
Are you really a happy hairy?
Do you wish that all and the rest of the world would rather tune with you and not oppose it? Dream on…
Now, our nice imperfect world makes it, and I would only laugh if you call me bonney stick... and I am also not mad with no-buddies that think and assume that I am anorexic, alas, an anal version or Tyrannosaurus Rex...
However... this is your choice if you like to stick to the negative over and again... yeah, in this case the entire fur can help to pad the fall or, otherwise, "warm" you "faster" in the fire... These are some advantages of being a furry gorilla, don’t worry, and be happy...

I'd say find a woman who is mature enough to take you for what you are Personally, I don't care for it, but I don't think it's a matter of maturity - just personal preference. I'm not sure if as I get older I will accept it more; does this mean I will always be immature? I don't think so. I had a boyfriend who didn't like the hair on his back and asked me to help him wax it -- what an ordeal! lol
