| A long distance hindrance? Posted: 3/24/2008 4:54:24 PM | Wow...so many replies to this thread, wasnt expecting that really.
Just to clear a few things up....I don't drive.
If I do move...
My daughter is only 3 years old and lives with her mum, i'll only see her (ongoing access battle) every fortnight for a weekend, the minimum the courts will grant.
I plan to move into a place of my own somewhere between here & there, just shortening that distance a little will help. I quite like the idea of moving to a place where I don't have a real social circle and its quiet...out of the city, I can knuckle down and paint more pictures.
I guess i'm lucky really, I forget how small this island really is in comparrison to others in different parts of the world and the distance difference.
As for gas costing too much.....!?
MSG- 10...That really warmed me...thank you.

| A long distance hindrance? Posted: 3/30/2008 1:37:59 PM | Don't let 80 miles come between you and the person you love. I met somone off here almost a year ago now and he lived 85 miles away, he runs his own business and works monday to saturday, but he wld drive down every saturday night to be with me and then wld have to leave very early monday morning to go straight to work! We found being apart hard and each time he left it got harder. I have 2 kids and they adore him and he cldn't love them anymore if they were his own. We decided that we wanted to be a family and to have a baby ourselves but we knew that meant one of us had to make the big move and i jumped at it, there was no way on this earth i was going to let this man out of my life for the sake of 85 miles, plus his business was his passion too and there was no way i was going to let him give that up, it was one of the main reasons i fell in love with him, his passion for what he does and his devotion and commitment to it. So i moved, yeah i miss my family and friends but they are not tht far away and being able to go to bed and wake up with my man every night and day is so worth the move. We are expecting a baby now and my kids are so happy that he is there everyday as a permenant father figure to them.
If you really love this woman, don't let her go, hold onto her with everything that you have, don't let that one true love slip through your fingers.
Good luck to you Emma xxx

| A long distance hindrance? Posted: 4/1/2008 6:10:41 PM | If you love somebody, you will love everything about her, and even she's live far away from you, you will do the first move, to be closer to her, "Sacrifices, that's one of the secret ingredients of Love.
80 miles is not really far, compare to 6,000 miles, I've heard a lot of story about that, but because of Love, even the strongest wind cannot stop him, to reach the lady of her dream.
God bless | |
