Posted: 6/7/2009 9:08:40 PM | I have had a wonderful day today. Ran all over the place this morning hunting flowers to plant....almost waited too late. Bought a BIG pot to plant elephant ears in that I got from my sister-in-law, which I gave her before I moved in 2007, bought potting soil and 4 hanging baskets. After all that I came home and took a nap, LOL.
I will ask you to pray for me tonight. I am going for a biopsy tomorrow afternoon. I had melanoma on my left forearm in 2004. Well a lump has came up close to the site where I had the skin cancer and I need to see exactly what it is. With that said I will say...........Good Night Everyone, I hope you have a peaceful nights sleep and a wonderful day tomorrow.....................until we meet again.

Posted: 6/30/2009 6:36:23 PM | ^^^^Thank you Zee and Rick for asking about me. No Zee I have not heard from Skunk, I wish I could and keep praying for him please.
I went to a general surgeon last Monday and he said he thought it was just a fatty tumor. He does not think it is the melanoma that has came back. I was scheduled to have the lump removed yesterday but had to cancel my appointment due to a mandatory meeting at work. I will get the surgery reschedule for next week.
I am just in a "funk" tonight after the lay off yesterday where I work. Even though I was not one of the ones laid off, I feel like I was and my heart really goes out to my co-workers. I put a little more about this in the "Prayer Request" thread.
Sigh..... and to all I hope you have a peaceful nights sleep.....................until we meet again.

I know some of you remember me mentioning my friend that I have in England. Please say a prayer for him. The Dr has diagnosed him with terminal cancer. They don't give him long to live. Please say a prayer for his wife and family also.
I am just devastated. I had to take 2 days off work to be able to cope with this.

Will be praying for your friend and his family. Cancer is such an unforgiving disease and it's not prejudiced in any way.
Also praying for my friends and family in the Atlanta area.... soooo much rain in so little time. My sister has water damage to her house and I've not heard from one of my brothers about their property. The house is high on a hill, but I'm sure the bottom of their property is way under water. | |

Posted: 9/28/2009 6:25:28 PM | Invited my friend from next door over tonight for dinner. We cooked steaks on the grilll, yummmmm. The weather is wonderful, will be turning the air off tonight and opening my windows. I love it when the house is aired out, such a clean smell.
