And then he was meeting you while he was with yet another girlfriend. Also, you have nothing other than his word that his g/f is gone. She could still be there with him and you have no way of knowing what is going on. I would not drop everything and move there until I had a lot more time with him, and talked a lot more. Posted: 10/24/2004 2:24:11 AM I hate to play the devil’s advocate, but here goes; you were raised in the German Culture for the majority of your years, yet your ancestral roots are in the Philippines if I have read correctly. Having spent some time in both countries, I can safely say that there is a vast cultural difference between those countries, and both of you will have to face that problem as well as the others, the rest have eloquently addressed. Could there also be the factor that you have a romantic notion of return to your ancestor homeland, and maybe that is what you are in Love with, not necessarily the package, but the surroundings?
