| Should I date a guy with a dog even though I don't like dogs?
Posted: 3/24/2008 8:09:57 AM | | OP - I've got to go with the majority here and say you probably shouldn't get involved with someone who has dogs (or kids, for that matter). As a dog lover myself, I can honestly say that I wouldn't last long with someone who didn't like dogs. I certainly wouldn't want to live the rest of my life without one (or two or three). Probably better to find someone who isn't much of a pet person. | |

Posted: 3/24/2008 10:14:54 AM | Liking a dog and keeping one as a pet are IMO two different things.
(Also, people who do not have kids, does not mean that they do not like or hate kids, simply means they do not want to have or raise kids of their own)
Some people like animals and prefer that those animals remain "free".
Thus there are 4 kids of people, with respect to their attitude re dogs and animals in general:
a) Those who like animals but do not keep them as pets
b) Those who keep pets
c) Those who do not keep pets
d) Those who do not like animals
Who can "live" with whom, out of groups (A) to (D) is not such a simple equation! | |
