So I guess since the brain is just nothing but chemicals, neurons, electricity and water love really never existed at all.

Yes I may be a combination of chemicals and elelitrical reponders in a water solution. But I am a spiritual being having a human experience seeking the same thing.
It is sad that you are a total nihilist and can not except the positive and negative feelings we all feel as flesh.

Posted: 3/16/2008 4:06:58 PM | | This whole thing about "bags of water" reminds me of a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, where a bunch of aliens referred to humans as "ugly bags of mostly water." Thinking that way isn't for everyone, but hey whatever helps one put things into perspective will lessen the pain somewhat.

There must be money to be made in this field, if I can just figure out the marketing. How do I advertise on POF?

well, the line about 'wallow in self pity' shows you have absolutely no understanding of depression and what causes it.

It was just such a fun thread I wanted to be a part of it.
It was a sop story? I'm all washed up as a poet. Cry me a river. The tides of love? Your love is like and ocean, I just want to dive in. I wash my hands of this whole thing.

He's a Brit, gotta love those Brits, with that dry sense of humor. I do. And yes, you might find someone else to take their place.......but aren't they a "bag of water" too? ~chuckles to herself~ I would change that last statement from "love is all in the head" to "love is all in the mind" because your head has water in it too. ~laughs~
Whatever it takes to get over someone .........different people have different methods. Harrabyman just prefers to think of them as a bad of water. If that works for him, more power to him. And harraby? If thinking of them as a bag of water is what you do .....does it work? ~whips out rain slicker, hands it to harrabyman. Then swan dives back into the pond~
