but don't worry, I won't be a fly too often cause bikes scare me, well actually bikes don't scare me, the drivers of cars that scare me!

I'd love to see your FZR, especially since I'm both a Yamaha fan and a former FZR1000 owner myself. What local shop did the work for you? What all was done? Was it all motor work or was your suspension addressed as well?
My motor is all stock. It pulls plenty hard for me as is. However, the suspension has been coompletely reworked to suit my weight and riding style. There's nothing like rding on custom suspension.
Got any pics you can post?

All hi performance parts, they had to split the engine to replace my shifter flywheel, so i told them since they had to do that, to replace everything in there that had even a scratch or wear on it, sprockets, bearings, i had the piston sockets bored, new rings, u name it, they broke the engine down to literally nuts and bolts in a box LOL

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there? Posted: 3/29/2008 10:24:11 AM | Yes there are many other riders out here . All different riding styles ,Sports,Cruisers and touring.I myself got tired of waiting for the rides , I will have my first bike this summer and went with a trike but only a little one. I have loved bikes since childhood but never owned one (always been a back seat rider) I'm going to take a riding class and ride anytime I want , Maybe I can find some people here in Springfield to ride with but if not it is something one can always enjoy alone too. I too have a pic of my new toy on my profile . Porchdog give Cammie a hug from me.

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there? Posted: 3/29/2008 11:10:54 AM | Karen, I agree with you! I am tired of waiting for rides...besides Dad! Though, I do love riding with him. I have grown up with them but have always been a back seat rider. Dad has been after me to get my license for awhile. The scooter that I am on (in pic on profile) is a 250 & technically requires one. I want to learn to ride a real bike! Dianne | |

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there? Posted: 3/29/2008 11:20:38 AM | | Dianne .......I too want to learn to ride a real bike and must do so in a class because if I take the test on a trike I will be restricted to only riding a trike. My trike is a 450 rebel ,plenty big for me ad since they only made that bike for two years I won't loose any $ on it if I decide to sell it and move up. I really like the trikes but didn't want to go big for my first bike. I also worry that I may not be able to get a bike back up if I ever tip over. | |

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there? Posted: 3/29/2008 3:00:02 PM | | I've thought the same thing...about holding a bike up. One of my son's friends used my Dad's scooter to get his license. He is not restricted to it. I have thought of taking a class around here. If I was to get a bike...I want a small one. I saw a Honda Rebel...I think it was Honda...was cute...was black with a little bit of pink here & there! I liked it! | |

Posted: 3/31/2008 2:38:52 AM | Even thuo I dodn't have a ride now back in the early 70's I did have a 1974 triump Trident. And what a PIECE OF JUNK LOL as soon as the warenty ran out it started to fall apart. It was costing me more money that it was worth. And the hardest part was having to wait for parts to come in from New York.So I sold it and I never bought another ride LOL

| Any other POF motorcyclists out there? Posted: 4/7/2008 7:29:37 PM | I thought Rabbi said that was yet to come.. like next weekend or something.. .but then again he may have said that when one of the guys started their bike... of course we were right in the middle of all of them. That was a fun time... I am seriously thinking about looking for a Tri...
I use to ride when I was a youngin... would borrow my brother in law's bike it was fun but now a days folks are not very cautious and when you are on a bike.. OMG... bad enough being in a car.
It was good seeing you again too Scooter!

I'd not been there since it changed names and back when it was Cadillac Jacks it was a rocking place. What happened?
