i only really block people if they get really annoying, but as for those who blocks right away, they probably don't want to reach that stage of annoyance. they don't like you (or your look), so they cut it off from there. does it hurt your feelings that they block you?

OP. that is an interesting question,, because I just received an email this morning,, and it said,, "I had to block you" I laughed,, I never even contacted this woman,, Matter of fact I don't contact women as a rule... yet I do recall looking at her profile several times,, but each time I viewed her,, I had forgotten that I looked before,, I think it's because the pictures are so small,, and it's tough to tell... I was LMAO,, wondering what is wrong with this woman,,

^^^maybe this isn't really a block, i dunno.
such an amusing thread! i'd like to see some of these really mega-hyper delicate people who block at the drop of a hat. such gossamer psyches, all offended and stuff. funny!
they need to be tormented a bit.

I think I've only blocked a couple guys and it was due to not accepting "No thanks" for an answer or he was too sexually suggestive in the first email.

I can't imagine blocking someone before they contacted me.
