This is all I am going to say for the rest of obam presidental race. I don't care if I change anyones mind. I am just stating my point of view. Shoot me. Ban me. Do what ever you want. The cover looks wonderful----but I was told never judge a book by it's COVER. Look up the voting records of all these candidates, then vote. Please don't vote blind.
Everyone has their idea of whom will make the better choice for president. I will not in any way vote for obama. As a person of reasonable deduction I have concluded his ties far outstretch that of the "typical" American and that is very scary in and of itself. I'll take a typical American president over one that has has such clothes ties with the religions such as his "christian church", his dad and stepdad. That is enough for me. That is all the doubt I need to say " Somethings not right here and I will not take that sort of risk".
All you obam supporters please take a moment and come off your fluffy white cloud and visit the web sites of "Nations Of Islam" then tell me if you were or if you are a Black Muslim would you dare tell The American People? Read it I dare you.

Barack Hussein Obama slapped hard-working Americans in the face when he said that "bitter" people "cling to guns or religion."
But how does Obama react when he actually encounters bigotry?
Do you remember what Jeremiah Wright, the man who preached to Obama for 20 years, married him to his wife, baptized his children and served as his spiritual advisor said about the United States?
Here's what Wright said:

Wright actually said that when terrorists killed over 3,000 innocent people on September 11, 2001, "America had it coming!"
Wright once called the United States of America, "the U.S. of K.K.K.A"
Wright even accused the United States government of developing the AIDS virus to exterminate blacks.
For 20 years, Barack Hussein Obama listened to Jeremiah Wright preach hate and didn't say a word. When confronted with Wright's race-baiting he refused to disown the man... and yet he has no problem insinuating that hard-working, God-fearing Americans are bigots!

If we all look at Politics, for the past 20 years,..you will find it muddled, distorted, and down right scarey,...as to what passes for Truth, in the Elections, and in the White House.
Politics is DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY.
Politics has become an all Powerful, ways, and means, of getting your agenda done, for their benifit,...not yours, or mine,...not for "We The People",...
but for BIG BUSINESS,

It doesnt matter to them that "We The People" have to scrape by on meager earnings,
trying to decide if we can afford gas to drive to work, and still put groceries on the table,.....that we fall deeper and deeper into debt,..while they, live "High On The Hog".
Or that "We The People" have lost hopes in "The American Dream",..when we are forced to sell our most valued possession, because we cant afford the taxes on our home.
Or that "We The People" cant afford "Health Care" due to the high premiums,.....
Yet, most working class cititzens, go to apply for help, or relief,..were told,....
"You make too much money"
The economy is going bust,...the inflation is out of control,....our cost of living, is ever increasing, while our buying power gets weaker every day.
We hear that the "Powers That Be",..are supposedly looking out for,....
"Our Best Interest",,,.....BUT,..."We",...dont see it !
It isnt going to matter much who is elected President,....between Hillery, or Omaba,
they will both help lead this once fine Nation, on down the road to ruin,.....
On one hand, Hillery, would continue the Clinton Legacy, and continue to court the same BIG CORPORATIONS, as her husband before her,.....
On the other hand,..Obama,..will not do much difference,..but may alter Politics, on a "Racial" note,....by claiming America isnt doing enough, to help the "Poor Black",
and not the entire "Poor Americans" in general.
America is so EXCITED, at the pr0spects of haing a "First Black President",...that were making , and accecpting all kinds of Excuses,...why "Obama" is quailified, and the correct choice, for President.
When in fact Obama isnt the best choice, neither is Hillery,...but that matters not,....does it?
When Americans, started allowing Politics to become more than a Leader, Elected into Office,...looking out for other Americans Best Interest,....we let go of the powers of good will, and watched as our once Great Nation become over run by a bunch of self serving individuals, that catered to Big Money, instead of "We The People", and our Countries, and its Citizens, health and Welfare.
Sure,..Politicians are "Silver Tounged Devils",...as long as we,...allow the to run free, and not be hald accountable.

If I understand all of you, a man that was educated ( even temporarily) in a Muslim school is a bad thing, right ?
A man who spent his youth in a Muslim country, as a child, is a bad thing.
A man who was a member of a church that focused on black issues, and served a black community (primarily) is a racist, right ?
A man who had a Muslim father is a bad thing, right ?
A man who was a member of a religious group who had Africa prominently featured on a window, or website, is a bad thing, right ?
That's pretty much what you are saying, isn't it ?
OK, now let's try something here.
Let's see what happens when we change the main words in that summary to something else.
Now let's read it back, and see if by doing so everything remains the same - or if it changes greatly.
Be a good test , wouldn't it ?

Bill Clinton came from a conflicted childhood, that's for sure, yet I'd say most of his presidency was a success, he turned deficits into surplusses and didn't contribute to worsening the nation's debt. Look at the way he seems to blow up if he is asked difficult questions. Is it because of his conflicted childhood? Perhaps. These are legitimate questions for voters to review and ponder when reviewing Mr. Obama's credentials to be chief executive of the United States of America. he has denounced the various inflammatory speeches against the US made by wright (but not wright himself who made the speeches), and this is what is unsettling to some white voters!
If you had a son/daughter who got in trouble with the law or did anything that's considered anti-social, do you denounce him/her completely? Do you completely disown them and throw them out of your house?
i think that they are doing a serious disservice to a new generation of young black men/women who are far less likely to have encountered the same degree of racism, but whose minds have been now 'primed' by these disingenuous preachers (such as wright)

Insolent, the point of his reference to his grandmother was both to describe HIS experience, and to make it clear that HE does not think that the legacy of racism is something that needs to divide us, as a nation, just as it DOES NOT divide him from his grandmother. he's all show and no go this barack hussein obama. talks a good game but that's cheap. not enough experience in my opinion. learning on the job in wartime is a mistake. he might be able to float by in peacetime but not now with radical muslims calling for our mass beheadings.
he says he's black but if i'm correct he's half black, half white. therefore he's mixed race not black! a basic lie!

If this is a lie, it's one that WHITE America came up with. Remember "one drop of black blood makes you Black" ? Don't get it twisted. There are a lot of biracial people that will refer to themselves as either "White" or "Black". It's totally determined by them and their experiences.

Yep, Obama is AMAZING. Amazing that people in this country are attracted to a man who has run his campaign on making people "feel good". Yep, lets just get together and all sit around the campfire and "feel good". This guy, while fantastic at pulling crowds and making everyone "feel good" ( oh, I will commend him on that... he certainly gets lots of cheers, waves and pats on the back....) , has very little substance in policy outside of the borders of this country. Ok, so he has some pretty short sighted views about what goes on here in the US also, but my bigger concern is his understanding, or rather lack of understanding about how other countrys not like Chicago operate. Wait... maybe Chicago is not a country... oh well.. I have to put something in this post that the forum police and yell at me about... ok.
"Lets just sit down and talk to these guys over there that don't like us and be nice to them and find out why they don't like us and then make nice" (... or something kinda like that...)
Obama is not the frightening part.
What is unsettling, is that there are so many people in this country and around the world (... did you see the news report about the kid in Iran that is running a phone bank supporting Obama for president?????.... ) who actually believe that "feeling good" is more important than providing a long term vision for security and keeping the ability to be free.

you ask, "how do you know?" - in reference to another posters' assertoin that obama is all show...
well, how do we know? hmmm... just a suspicion. for me, i resent how he is being pushed by the media.
here is an example... obama spoke in front of 75k people in portland, right? it was amazing! the pictures were incredible!
well, not one media source reported that the band the decemberists actually opened for obama. they are from portland. they are a great band actually. the whole impression that was put out was that he drew all these people on his own. that is misleading.

so yes, i think he is quite a showman. so much so that he even ignores his opening act. it's customary in the biz to thank the opening act. so yeah, he's ALL show... the whole show... and quite the meglamaniac imo.

Do you have any idea how few bands draw 75,000? Bon Jovi, The Stones, Springsteen, U2. . . pretty limited. Yeah but those people PAID to attend those concerts. Geez Louise this was a FREE concert on a nice day in a left-leaning political area. Big deal. Close to 200k people go to NASCAR events; over 300k go watch races in Indianapolis, and these people PAY to watch that stuff. THAT might be considered significant. 500k go on marches in DC, THAT might be considered significant. | |
