"I like going out to the pub and having fun but i also like staying in"
So they like going out and staying in. Hmmmm, guess that would be pretty much like every other person on the planet
While we're at it lets hope they tell us more facts about their individual personality such as...
"I breathe oxygen"
"I have both a mother and father" and
"I dont like eat through my eyeballs"
If someone chooses to waste time on their profile it would best if they at least included the characteristics that defined them as an individual as opposed to the universal traits that define us all as cultural siblings | |

also profiles which refer in the most strange pathologically obsessive way to others...whether it be an ex or someone who made the mistake of being friendly with you or someone you are intensely envious of ...whatever the reason - there's a difference between being honest and open ...and exposing yourself to intense ridicule. | |

Posted: 6/1/2008 5:09:19 AM | I think all the comments are apt about what not to put, some glaringly obvious but I try not to judge anyone, and know from experience that its very difficult to describe yourself and what you like or want from life. I try to accept that everyone is trying their best to find common ground, saying you like going out or staying in watching a DVD is common ground isn't it (although I accept not original).
As for the photograph ... I don't care what people look like but have been caught out before with not so nice men that masquarade under different names (mainly my ex!) So a photograph to me is just a safety thing - if your genuine you shouldn't mind attaching a photo, if you don't want it on public display attach it to a message - thats not to much to ask is it? | |
