vociferously the sounds !!!

I was afraid
When I opened my eyes

This morning would be shrouded
In yesterdays lament

Pent
Up in the house vociferously

( The sounds of the vehemently adroit )
Clutching

At my very deep cry
Unknowing if the switch

Was switched
To laughter and joy

I gave
Caution to the wind-would

Awakened my clarity

As I held on
Everso light

Dancing feathers swooped up
Gathered and shaped the vertical horizon

Breaking out of a horizontal balloon
Blown by the balloon blower

Of dachshunds and giraffes
A gaff of openly dark and discredited

Hollow rubber decoys
Rose inflated with victory over defeat

Mercy arrived for my heroine
Opened and rode

The dawn
A milky mist of patrons

Shimmered off the lawn
To touch a new dimension

An elegance
Returned

Rising out to grace the pond
Was a lone and lovely

Swan...

little bits take mighty bytes
l.e.d.s ignite the nights
CD ROM in fine fanfare
DVD RW there
plasma screams
across the screen
megapixels frying
modems calls
and through it all
modular mayhem scrying

in the foggy A.M. of Saturdays rat
race to the hills with the ole pick up truck
splashed with new paint
of pea shell turtle wax green
mozaic tiles clamor for mid sky heights of
spreading vistas and hightails of wind
waking out of a long forgotten dazzled day
a herd of tortoises hoist themselves into the
cinch of harness and clasp their ancient
short legs around in hang gliders
fashioning themselves anew
claws relaxed and mouthes agape
eyeballs squinted and lips curled up
off they go like a herd...

Tip'n the scales
was a fear
although, skinny as a twig
unplugging everything of power
washing of hands a hundred times an hour
underestimating self worth
burying of truth hurts
Borderlining a personal birth
Disarray of the world
realizing life isn't meant to be lived that way
clearing of mind
cleaning of soul
calm the winds of truths untold!!

Sailing along on the bluest seas
wish there more seconds of time
like these
looking to the water
finding what i lost
waves overlapping
sun on my face
baking
contentment
cleansing
my soul
sinking into myself
falling into
peace

Hugs in the night
Posting of favorites for thought
Musical Love
Ochestra in Black and White
written way back when
and more today

Cage Free Chickens
Posted: 4/23/2008 2:41:25 PM
there they are
out in the street
wabbling a bit
pecking at feet
on the side of the road
up on the fence
scaring the kids
and making dents
on fenders and doors
scratchin the floors
like I know its the rage
to open the cage
let em run free
but my goodnees me
these birds are now everywhere
its hard not to kind of care
the smells and the waste
those piles of white paste
just for some eggs
you better protect your legs
for them chickens are on the loose
an runnin ain't no use
rise Bruce from the grave
to try and save
with karate kicks
and walking sticks
we just gotta feel deranged
with all this free range
eploding around the countryside
making it dangerous to ride
for we now slip and slide in the skat
oh yea
you better wear a hat
for that is easy to see why
since these uncaged birds can fly.

My Metric Mishap....
Posted: 4/28/2008 8:09:32 AM
Converting to:
The "Canadian Way"
is what the teachers, back then did say!!
"Eventualy the whole world
will be doing it this way!!"
Inches to Centi's
Foots to Kilo's
Quarts to Liter's
Metric mishap it became for me!!
More money I had to spend to converting
something that still hasn't caught on commonly here!!
Still can't figure out Fahrenheit to Celsius!!
I dated a guy once whom said, "I have a Cubic Foot!"
turned out he only had a Centimeter!!
Lesson learned
I always carry a calculator!!!
