I like the pub with dart boards. At least its something to do and i need work on my game. Thats a winter first date while the summer ones will be different dont know what yet but it wont be inside especially if the weather is nice.

Walmart!! How cheap.

I prefer Home Depot. They give you free coffee if you go to the contractors corner, and then you can look at lawm mowers with her or ever grills, and in the way out, stop by the plant department, cut some butt and give it to her. Now if you really want to get romantic, go to the lighting department and deem some lights and ask her what wants to check out the Jacuzzis. Now, if things evolve, you can check the pluming department.

Hehehe

To me, where he takes me is irrelevant. It's the COMPANY that matters, not the location.

The last guy I dated....our first date was at a little hole-in-the-wall bar. I had been there before, so I knew I was going to be comfortable with the location. Not too loud of a place, so was gonna give us a chance to talk.

We got there - and the power was out! They stayed open though, with candles and a fire going in the corner, which we were able to sit by. It turned out to be a great date - with conversation flowing really well for several hours! (Could've been a disaster if we had nothing to talk about - nothing more uncomfortable than those awkward silences when neither person knows what to say next!)

RE; msg 9.

sounds great..........................

meet her then go shopping for something that i want and try and get her to pay for it.

i just wish i could pull something like that off.....................lol

it beats having dinner ( where she expects the guy to pay !!!!!!!!!!!!) or the cinema ( same again ) or drinking ( same again ).

yeah, shopping, sounds really great to me....................must remember that for next time, at least it would be a date for her to remember-seeing as most dont want to ever meet up again there is nothing lost in a shopping date......................lol

To each his own I guess.....

For me I don't want to go anywhere loud on a first date, especially if it's a first date with someone I met online. I want to spend the first itme we're together getting to know them, not going "Huh?!" after everything he said because we're at a club/bar or something. But I'm up for anything so long as it doesn't involve someone's house unless it's "meet me at my place then we'll go" type of thing.

Well, one guy asked me to go on a first date for a bike ride on an isolated trail in a state park......I declined, for obvious reasons.

I'd pick a pub over wandering off in the woods with a complete stranger......
