I told them that people who do that sort of stuff get bubonic plague, develop yukky pustules and drop dead a few days later. Started thinking again a few years later that he should be given "the talk" but I was too chicken to do it so my brother got the job. By then it turned out my son knew more about that sort of stuff than my brother (who had only had and has still only had the same girl in his life since he was 14).
I think kids figure it out for themselves really, same as we did (I did anyway...my mum gave me a plague story too!). It's "relationships" they need guidance with I think, not advice on what they're supposed to do with their anatomy. | |

It was a riot in that household...kind of surreal...often proper and strict...and a hoot at the same time. It sure messed us up...but not one day goes by without me missing them.
