Posted: 10/15/2009 12:26:17 AM | A very sad thread. Silly OP was asking about what kind of "man talk" to give her son, obviously approaching puberty and was wondering what it should be about, and thought to herself well obviously men tell their sons all about wanking and naked girls.
Makes me wonder why she's single. But surprise surprise (<--Gomer voice) everybody thinks it is indeed a thread about wanking, or the boy had asked about wanking.
Sad.
FYI the "man talk" is more along the lines of "From now on I'm going to trust your judgement about things son, but that comes at a price: from now on I'm going to hold you fully responsible for your judgement, son." And then concludes with a series of real world examples, which may or may not include masturbation, but more likely will focus on some general and likely social situations like the girls at school, acceptable guidelines if you bring one home, etc.
I feel sorry for a kid who gets a birds and bees conversation from his single mum along the lines of, "Wanking is okay son, all men are pigs anyway."
My mum was like this OP, I know exactly where she's coming from and basically I think, well it's the dumb place. The rest of the forum jumping all over the term masturbation like monkeys flinging poo from a cage is just predictable, it has nothing to do with the thread actually. No offence. Humour is humour, but sometimes noticing things is good too.
