There were no Canadian forces on the European continent after May 1940.So trubblemaker when the US entered the war in Dec.1941, there was no land war going on in Europe
You do know there were many Canadians in the infiltration teams that were on the continent on a regular basis, they were on the contintent for D-Day, Victory in Italy, etc...
But there was an air war.The introduction of American forces saved Europe.
Oh they helped that is for sure, but you do also know that there was not a single American plane in the first 1000 bomber raid over Germany, unlike the portrayal in the movies? Or that instead of sitting on the fence and selling arms to both sides for profit would have done more to cause a quick end to that particular conflict.
