Posted: 5/22/2008 11:06:08 AM | am up for rounders, I was a demon when I was 8 and proved I still have the skill 3 years back on a beatiful beach in Gowa, south west wales..... plus I will bring my new stunt kite for its maiden flight....... cant wait hoping for some breeze....
not sure on the sober bit hope there will be wine flowing... plus those who dont want to carry picnic can recommend the sanwhich shop just outside the cuty sark dlr station damn whats it callled now..... you know the one I mean... subways......

But just to let you know for now , the menu consists of ; Passion fruit cheesecake , Strawberry cheesecake , Lemon tart , Black foreset gatuex , Strawberry gatuex , Key lime pie and Rubarb & custard tart .
I mite make some other things as well if everything goes to plan .
Hope not everyone os on a diet . lol

Honestly I am terrible at packing lunch for picnics so I just come along. Is there a cafe in the park, there is bound to be surely..mm anyway I definitely am coming. I need some fresh air. I hope its a dry day!  <-------- I love this smilie...its so cute | |

As promised I have checked this afternoon the weather reports from 4 different sites.
Due to the inclement weather predicted for tomorrow ( Sunday) and after checking with 4 different weather forecast sites.. Heavy rain,windy and only 15 degrees predicted.
Gazebos are not allowed in Royal parks and taking everything into consideration not really much fun for anyone sitting on the wet grass in the wind and rain,eating soggy sandwiches..
If it had just been a bit warmer with showers, then it would have been ok!!
Speciod I do hope all your food will not be wasted!Could always freeze it until the next time!
Thanks to all that were attending and hopefully you will attend future park events....

Posted: 5/24/2008 8:30:44 AM | Shame after all you've done to organise this the weather goes and ruins it when it's so nice today . But that's british weather for you .
There's no problem with getting rid of the food . My mates found out i'm baking for tomorrow and surprisingly enough they should be calling round later . But i will bring a little something to the pub before the Dungeon meet as a taste test . Just incase there's another picnic later in the summer , and so you'll know what to expect at the next picnic .
