I really enjoyed wings night. I will miss it tremendously. 
I hope we can find something else to replace it. Gee i'm really sad about this.
I'd like to say thank you so much to the host and hostesses who took the time out of their evening to make sure everyone was comfortable and had a good time.
Hope to see some of you at other events. ciao for now.

new members to try it out as well. It was a good place to socialize without competing with
loud music etc. I try hard not to stay indoors during summer so I was surprised to hear that
attendance hadn't improved.
Not signing up for events is a big problem as any host(ess) knows. Kudos to all those who
hosted this event since its initiation.  | |

Posted: 9/11/2008 10:03:05 AM | Aww - I'm so sorry it's over. Wings night was the very first event I ever went to. It took me three times of driving to the event, parking and then sitting in my car, unable to get out of the car and unsure of what was inside, scared I wouldn't fit in. On the third week, I made myself get out of the car and open the door to the pub. What met me was a great big bear hug from B & T. Nothing scary at all! Just lots of laughs with great people. Been a semi-regular ever since.
Wings night was so much fun and like so many, I'm going to miss it.

Posted: 9/11/2008 6:02:48 PM | too bad that this isn't happening anymore was one of the orginial POFers who first came out on a regular basis . This WAS my neighbourhood long BEFORE I was ever involved with POF.
Wings are the best there in the lowermainland as well as their spinach salad. Oh well such is life and time to find a different venue to swim on the pond. | |

Posted: 9/14/2008 4:35:43 PM | | just a question.... is wings event over or are they closing the wing night at the pub ... cause if the event is over ... then there is nothing stopping those who like wing night to go on a tuesday just not as a pof event? cause I for one will still go on a tuesday night occasionaly for wings hope others will as well | |
