Personally, I blame it on ‘Sex in the city. I never watched this program until last week…lol I was curious about the reviews the new movie was getting so I plunked myself down to get a snippet of what was to come. Amazing views and the dismantling of boundaries. I understand now where the blatant exploitation of sexual prowess and competition is coming from. Also, I think the change is more evidant as a result of this new medium (more choices). | |

We are blaming social morals on a television show???? LOL Where do these shows come from??? An alien civilization? No - from our own.
Where do our childrens morals come from??? Television? Hardly. Yes - to be certain - television can create an impression on a young mind. However, who is supervising these kids and what they watch? What they do???
There is only one group to blame - ourselves. Society as a whole. Parenting in this day and age certainly has taken a turn. How many of us had our parents hand us a $300 'gadget' like an iPod???? Find me a kid walking the streets that DOES NOT have one of these. Find me a kid that works to earn money to buy one of these for themselves.
Kids today have the 'entitlement' gene. They are born and instantly feel entitled to everything. This is the result of several generations of overindulgent parenting. Kids today feel they can do no wrong - having sex at the age of 11, 12 and 13. Oral sex is merely another 'base' these days. It is all a harmless game to them. Just something to do - for fun.
Now. Give a little thought to it. What does the future hold for these people and their happiness in a relationship????? Their children????
Scarey isn't it.
No - no TV show did this. We did.
Blaming a TV show for our society's outlook on 'sex' is like blaming air pollution on the Catholic church.

3 drinks each -$30
tax -$9
Tip @ 15% -$11
Taxi to the play -$20
2 Tickets to the play (Lion King) -$250
Tax on tickets -$37
Taxi back again -$20

Posted: 6/24/2008 11:40:15 AM |  Thank you for bringing it out.Good lawd,when did romance,courting,and in our case getting the "ok" from the family to date disapear.The internet has brought high speed into our lives to the point that the dateing is suppose to be at 6 gig's a second?And when did Dateing turn into if your not willing to be exclusive no date.Mercy,I suppose with the downfall of the morality part with exclusive is required.I would just enjoy company to a movie,dinner out,rollercoaster ride,bicycle ride.Walk on the beach conversation.that is what dating use to be,not in todays scene and it makes me very sad. | |

Posted: 6/24/2008 11:48:15 AM |  I fail to see how we got from dateing to child rearing.Several studies done by reputable organizations do show TV has greatly contributed to the downfall of the moral fiber in our world today.Being that my gender vs the opposite is more prone to abandon family IE children.Single parents find monitoring child input from various sources like the internet in school,Signage in business'sIE porn shops,magazine's in grocery stores,and several other stimulous difficult to control.Again not sure how all that relates to the topic. | |

Posted: 7/2/2008 11:09:36 AM | Trouble is, you have to have been clean for over a decade to be sure you don't have HIV, and let us face it, who are you going to meet that has not had sex for a decade in a guarranteed clean situation? Recent widower?
Perhaps the relatively good news is that even if you get infected today, some of us are old enough so that other causes will likely catch up with us before the HIV does.
Indeed, however, it is very depressing to be out there these days with this kind of problem. | |

you get a gal that says shes average and you find out she is bbw ????you meet a gal who says shes athletic and you get a gal who is "has a few extra pounds ?" so what i am wondering is when was the last time gals have updated there profile or is this all just a crap shoot and hope for the best ......as i have met a couple of really interesting gals on here but there profile is not of likeness to there posted pix.......so alls i got to say is keep it real and up to date and well then things might be different...my 2 cents worth and cheerz!gotta

Posted: 7/25/2008 5:08:57 AM | Well I promised myself when I decided to post a profile that "IF" I were lucky enough to find a lady that I felt comfortable with-I would take my time and not rush anything. I know, I know- hey your a guy and your suppose to get it and run. Wrong, I happen to want to find a lady that would like to be with me for some time to come. Well, anyway so far in the short time I've been on this site I've met 3 ladies and ALL of them came right out on the second or third date that they wanted me to "take them to bed" Damn, Already-hell I haven't even had a chance to find out what's your favorite color, what kind of music do you like? Do you like cream in your coffee or for that matter, do you even like coffee? So many question and perhaps no time to get any answers. Boy AM I old fashioned or just "OLD" What happened to the-I'm looking for an honest,funny, caring kind of guy? How can a lady find out about any of these qualities I may have in such a short time? I guess I am "OLD"
