| pictures on POF Posted: 5/25/2008 3:04:31 PM | Robinson 2 - I was chatting to a blokie about a woman he contacted without a picture, he got taken to msn, and she put on a show on cam for him, he missed it cos he had wondered off, anyways she says send me a picture, so peter sent her one of himself on holiday - and she goes "no you pratt one of your d*ck".
He dutifully sends her one of his freshly washed and powdered manhood, and she replies, "too late you pratt" and blocked him.
Stupid story but it still makes me laugh, so shared it with this forum

| pictures on POF Posted: 5/25/2008 3:24:20 PM | I can only say ditto to the first question coz there's plenty of men with no pics!!! The second well, what some consider long faced or moody won't be what others think personal prefernce, we're all different.
What bothers me is all the people that put pics up with children in....... in this day and age with all this technology (and the perverts out there) and how all us parents with children that use computers and are trying to keep them safe online you get idiots that deliberately put their pic up when it includes a child doh , beats me.....

| pictures on POF Posted: 5/26/2008 3:25:43 AM | Just to add to the record. I have found little difference to having a pic to not having a pic when it comes to chatting to people and making new friends. If I message someone I can include a private one. I have several great friends and not desperate for either new ones or a soul mate. I have nothing to hide with my looks, in fact I receive very positive remarks, and like other women on here, get fed up by frequent propositions from young men when my photo is on show. If anything, it is not my looks that put some men off, but the fact I live with my children because it seems men want somewhere private to linger on someone else's sofa with a bottle of wine! It is interesting that many hold onto communication but dip out at that point of admission. I also quite like the element of surprise, and the last guy I met as friend said I was stunning, and that is without make-up or heels! I also fell in love once, not at first sight, but with guy who has zero in the looks dept. because as I got to know him, his mind, intellect, mannerisms, I discovered other endearing features that made is looks pale into insignificance. Sadly he is not with us now, but yes, physical attraction may be the first port of call BUT enjoying the company of someone and falling in love can come from the most unexpected corners, and you are cutting down your chances by just not being pleasant to everyone. Why not make someone day anyway, by responding just because they took the time to message you? | |
