richard pratt is head of a cardboard empire and his proved collusion with the other large competitor in the industry resulted in higher prices for cardboard.... who cares, you say?..
well it is estimated that his company ripped off hundreds of millions from small businesses which probably resulted in people going broke..... broken families and maybe even suicide...not that i think he should be tried for that...
but while his company was fined a few bucks, richard remains the president of carlton.... even the former treasurer peter costello, said that the law should be changed so that people are considered criminals for such behaviour ....but richard gets references of support from the victorian premier.... and from others at the "melbourne club".....and victorians will know what i'm talking about here..
so its good for wayne to get his just desserts but the law tends to dither when the wallet is fat... | |

1/ The Flordia cops attack him when he's sleeping peacefully in bed and, when, suprised by the unprovoked attack he resists them these sooks of cops go ""WAAAAAA! Reissting arrest ressisting arrest WAAAAAAA! "" all the way to the courts.
2/ The gutter media jumps on the badwagon about the way Carey "glassed" his girlfriend. (Glassing is when you smash a glass/bottle and cut a persons face open with the razor sharp ends.)
3/ The mainstream media then jumps on the bandwagon with the same story.
4/ When Carey is finally actually interviewed it finally transpires that what he actually did was throw the CONTENTS of a glass into his girlfreinds face during an argument.
An act which thousands of women do every day and regard as quite normal.
He didn't smash a glass and cut her face open. He threw a drink at her like any woman throwing a hissy fit. | |

We have our examples in the West as well, such as Ben Cousins.
First of all, Ben Cousins can never be compared to the likes of Wayne Carey. Ben Cousins has only hurt one person, that being Ben Cousins. He has never physically assulted another person, he isn't a d!ckhead like Carey is, and further more, he is already a greater star than Carey ever was or will be.
Ben Cousins was targeted by the media for all the wrong reasons. Wayne Carey didn't target the media, he got arrested and so the media followed.
Wayne Carey has been in the headlines for years. First it was for the affair he had with his best mates wife. I mean WTF! This man has no morals, no credibility and no AFL playing tallents in my opinion.
Ben Cousins will play AFL footy again, possibly one day he will even coach a side or become someone affiliated with the AFL.
What is Wayne Carey doing? Oh that's right, selling his story to "No idea" 
True champions of the AFL game are people like Ron Barassi, Gary Ablett Snr, Ben Cousins, Kevin Sheedy and Tony Lockett. Not people like Wayne Carey. He's a loser!

the media give too much airplay to people who are not important - eg wayne carey, ben cousins. they are both tossers and quite frankly who cares what they do - do we really need it to be shoved in our faces. same goes for these "gangster molls" crying poor and acting as if we owe them pppffftt. bloody media beat up is where it all goes wrong.
still i think andrew denton did a great job exposing wayne carey more for what he is and rather than what he thinks he is. | |

The way I see it, he is like a lot of other addicts, until he admits that he has a problem he won't and can't do anything about it. Drink, drugs, aggression problem - who me?
He's got a list of excuses as long as your arm, "She made me do it" "She provoked me", "the officers pushed me first" "I'm not addicted - I've got it all under control" blah blah blah.
I bet his ex-wife is glad she got out of that mess when she did. | |

I am indeed and what I find doubly amusing is the ranting about "violence against women" from women who have never had so much as a bruise in their entire lives but still consider violence against men as so socially acceptable that they automaticaly assumme that is a couple consists of a little guy and a BIGGG momma then she's beating him up. | |
