As a "veteran" of 2 Glasgow POF meetings, I'm looking forward to a meet closer to home. To Alan (good speaking to you, all too briefly, on Friday) and the other Glasgow , it'll be great to see you through here and reciprocating the warm welcome received in Glasgow .
Hey! Thanks for the invite, I would love to come along, but bit weary as I would be attending alone, but I'm sure I'll be made welcome. I'll do my best to get over my shyness and come along!
hope to make it along but as I will be working that day will have to bring my car to make it there for 730 so soft drinks for me lol not knowing the area comming from glentrothes in fife anyone give me tips for best area to park car near to st andrews square.
There's normally spaces available in St Andrew's Square at that time of night, it's free with no traffic wardens about! If you'd prefer to park in a car park, the one above St James Centre / John Lewis is a couple of minutes walk from Grapes.
Hiya Thanks for the invite but im already signed up althought I was wanting to bring a couple of friends who are under 35 so how strict is the age limit going to be? Looking good for numbers really looking forward to it
Hi thanks for organising this and inviting me, Ive just joined this site and not even got a photo up yet but will be bringing a group of friends with me who are all unattached too for moral support! thanks again and look forward to meeting you all in person! diane
I hope to be there. This will be my first meet. So not sure what to expect and i wont know anyone!
If the Glasgow meets are anything to go by, there will be a lot of people in the same boat as you and you'll have nothing to worry about. I went to the 1st Glasgow meet myself and immediately people started chatting, including me in conversations, introducing me etc. By the time I went to the 2nd meet last Friday I felt that I was meeting up with long-term friends.
A number of the "Glasgow girls" did arrange to meet up before hand as they were going by themselves, and felt more comfortable going into a venue with other women. (You may have to alter your restrictions to enable other women to mail you.)
Well all my mail restrictions are sorted now so feel free to email me although good to respond through the forum in case others have the same questions. Thanks for those who are helping me out with responses! Wanna co-host?
Anyway the night will be what we make it... .... ..... ...and maybe even....
Don't worry about having to bring a friend....loads are signed up and the venue can only hold about 150 max.
i will attend hopefully with a guest its good what single people speak on computers which is good ,but when you are out you dont know who is single and who is in a relationship i think its good singles of both sexes can meet up. its hard being alone we only live once why waste time javascript:smilie('') javascript:smilie('')
