Posted: 5/15/2008 8:57:56 PM | | That did that once in the 1993 season that one season had an 18 week season and they had 2 bye weeks. The problem was the 2 bye weeks. So the nfl switched it back to 17 week season with one by week the following year. | |

Posted: 5/15/2008 9:24:15 PM | | I agree start the season a week early, but instead of 2 bye weeks just keep it at 1 bye week and the earliest a team can have a bye week is in week 5 instead of week 3. I know a lot of teams hate it when they get an early bye week and I don't blame them. | |

Posted: 5/16/2008 9:22:05 PM | I hoped they would make a rule about calling time out right before a fieldgoal snap. It's part of strategy and mental warfare but its getting old and I would prefer not waste all the time "icing" kickers.
They also need to give the cheeleaders more camera time. We don't need to watch a ref's azz while he's under the hood when there's grade A, prime choice, turd cutters not far away. | |

Posted: 5/17/2008 11:45:40 PM | I heard the NFL was going to look into changing that rule. They should leave that time out call to the players on the field right before someone kicks a field goal.
I want to see a better overtime system, similair to what college football has. | |
