Posted: 10/13/2008 8:56:22 AM | Wow....good question Deb and of course that particular answer would vary from each and every man.....but consider this....from birth till the death bed men in some form or other "play" the toys and there cost vary ...most of the time they choose to play with other men be it hunting in a group bowling leauge or whatever....but they would like to play with a women.....just deep down they fear ridicule from their gal...a man is all about ego...don't know why , I'm not a shrink but do know it is a basic fact ...
If a woman lets it be known that she wants to play espically in the bedroom watch your mans eyes light up.....he will be like a new puppy all eager and ready to please...you just need to probably take the lead...yeah I know men are susposed to be the leaders in a lot of things but they have no confidence in this area...but dont think for a second that 99% of the men out there dont secretly crave that there gal would run out and buy some coustume and play whatever ...Nurse.....or a lot of the various skimpy little outfits for sale...you get a man that you can play with in the bedroom and he can lets his guard down and you got a man that knows he is on to a rare thing and I would bet this would be a man that would think long and hard before considering some other green grass ... | |

I'm pretty sure most are not interested in a submissive lady/man. Although there are some that would get into that. I have known a few people that were into dom/sub and from what they said it was a very beneficial relationship for both parties. | |

It is not restricted to the "bedroom",,,dom/subs are some persons preferenecs yes,yes,,,but being "submissive takes place in various aspects of daily life styles,,,even at work,,, a sure sign of self confidence,,,,,but a woman/man need just to be empowered and encouraged to grow out of a past "discouraged" aspect of being submissive life style for thier own personal growth,healthier relationships,,and to do so men/women need to understand the causes/reasons and know that maybe most of thier life was alittle off track based on prior experineces,,,yes,,most are turned off,,,yet what is the point is understanding and as long as they try to break out of that "submissive" they will enjoy life,quaility relationships a great deal more,,,Bill,,,you know I am sure,,,there are those who look at this "submissive fourm",,,just as any other,,,they try to understand themselves,yet those of us who are aware of the "pits of being submissive" just offer advice,,,good ,bad indefferent,,,yet with understanding and our view points,,,Thanks Bill,,,,Have a great day,,Dave:) | |

Posted: 11/18/2008 5:43:59 AM | sadly many people have control issues..many men do also...its not fair in my book and relationships should be a give and take..and never should a person feel out of sorts and there for out of control..sucks all the wind from your sails..I enjoy as close to mutual relationship as it can ever be..im hoping this is possable..and probable...I think if we offer up ourselves...equally or as equal as we can..and communicate it can be something to work at and its fire can be the fuel for keeping things fair for each other...
i love a man to act like a man..but..it depends on whos definition..he dont have to be a lumber jack..and skin varmits with his teeth...I know there is many facets to people..I can be strong..and even stronger if i am fighting for what i believe or a loved one..and i am...assertive(lets call it) .but..im not one to be dominant all the time..again..you have to allow a man ( or women as the case may be) to be who they are or the potential they can be..with out standing on their toes...that is a big turn off for everyone..I can be asked to do anything..and if i feel apprecaited ill do so gladly...but..try being demanding..it makes everyone dig in their heels..its all on how you manage your own temperment to compliment another in my book...maybe its better to take turns.. | |

I was married to a woman who deferred all decision making to me. It eventually degraded to me having sole responsibility for the cars, the house, chores, and finances. Towards the end she wouldn't even think for herself, instead I would get phone calls at work asking me what she should do for this or that.
I perfer a partner, someone with self respect and thier own identity. Someone who can think for themselves. I don't want a wet towel for a girl friend, I want a real, living, thinking woman. | |
