Posted: 11/20/2008 7:23:29 PM | | I hear you Kat...My ex was a guy who saw nothing through... never handled a bill, estimate, purchase or dispute...and eventually never knew how to spend time with his own children and occupy them for over a hour...pretty sad in my eyes...and not my idea of a real man...I am pretty traditional I have to say...I do think God created women for man and man is geared for hunting, gathering and taking care of home and family ( among other things) but in all truth...behind every good man is an even better women..not trying to be smug about it...I think it is our job or duty to help and clear obstacles from out of our mans path..inturn making his job easier..and making sure to not bruse any egos all this must be done in silence. Just knowing he feels solid and happy in his accomplishments is what counts..a happy man strives to make those around him happy...there is method in all that madness...just my spin.. | |

I am the captain of this ship. I am the lighthouse in the emotional fog of my woman. I am her rock and safe place to be.
I like when a woman suggests intelligent stuff and I am willing to decide to go along with it, but in the end I will make the decision.
Not only that, I want her to be happy to please me, and it should come from her. I should not have to beg for her to please me. I just need to let her know how good a job she is doing and how I love her, and how I am so pleased by her that I will NEVER cheat on her and that I will always be there for her.
I will take care of her and make sure that she feels appreciated.
But again, I am the captain of the ship.

We panic. We can't be all that and a bag of chips also. I will date a woman longer, trying to find out slowly what they want. If you tell us in a couple dates everything you want. We start to think. She wants more then we can give so soon. A guy wants to date a woman that wants to have fun and not get into a relationship right away. Because we date a woman, doesn't mean wedding bells. If you date a frog. He probably is a frog. If you date a prince. He may not be a prince. He may be sleeping with a bunch of women. Why not? He is good looking and very charming. Says everything a woman wants to here. But, does he mean it. Not likely. He is saying it for a reason such as (a notch in the bedpost). On the other hand. If a frog does change, it has to be for better, cause he already is a frog. You just have to find the good in the frogs and maybe you will be happy ever after. Or you can be another notch in the bedpost.
I have one more thing to say.......ribbit...
