I had that happen once. Found out... maybe half way through the date. I think she was thinking it was going to be a bigger deal. Saw it in her eyes, something hiding in there she was afraid of telling me... It's a crazy life to be in, and sometimes it seems they want to be "just a normal girl".
But no, nobody got an invoice at the end of it... which was lucky for her, because evenings and weekends, trades guys like me, we're on time and a half ;-).

I was at a party and one of our friends disappeared with this girl... later he came down VERY upset! One day 20 some years later he lost his job and was devestated. The wife showed the husband the account she had, with over a million dollars in it, so that he would know they would be ok. When she did this he responded "hell if I would have known you were doing that, I would have give you all my business", and she shot him.
Maybe this chic thought she would get a head start, hey the stock market aint doing that good lately.
