Posted: 4/26/2008 5:16:13 PM | Hahaha!! the Brad Pitt comment was really ironic since he is filming a movie about 13 miles down the highway from where I live! What's even better is that he and his wonderful family have been renting an ex WWF wrestlers home ..... RIGHT HERE!!!! Have I seen him/ them ???  No... but I dont get out much! Heck.. Home Depot was almost a year old before I even knew we had one!!! 
I'll be out and about come July though... floating and relaxing all my cares away! | |

Any word from Bigfish as to why there is not a green link to this event yet? it the date too far off?
From what I understand from one of the moderators is there is a site wide glitch right now that hosts are having some issues with mass emailing, which zip code is part of that too. So I would imagine that is why that is not showing up. I also understand that it is being worked on, and hopefully fixed soon.

I just called the camp grounds to reserve an area to be with the group
They know nothing bout POF or where everyone is going to be located at.
By any chance did any of you ladies kinda reserve an area for everyone to set up at?
If not if might be a good ideal to know the location so everyone that is coming will know where we are and be all together . Plus we have to let everyone know that they should let the camp grounds know its POF

Sandee, Camping on the river is 12.00 per person per night. For large
groups I always suggest the field area. There is no money up front and
I can hold a large area if the number of folks is not available. The
price in the overflow is 10.00 per person per night. All of our
camping prices are based on a 2 night minimum. The overflow also gives
everyone the availability to park by there tents. If you were
planning on having at least 100 people plus, I can hold a entire
overflow area for you. If the group is smaller I can hold the area in
front of the cabins. If you decide tyou want the riverfront camping
area we need to know pretty quick. I will put your name in case any cabins cancel for that weekend.

Sandee, I will reserve the overflow are on the right side of the main
driveway. That way they can be close to the volleyball court. All the
overflow areas have porta able toliets that are cleaned out both Friday
and Sat. Of course they can also use the main facilities. Tubes are
15.00 each which includes the shuttles and taxes. And for your group I
will GIVE you the tubes for your coolers FREE. Looking forward to it.

The overflow campground is a bit cheaper and we would be able to keep our vehicles close by and it is near the volleyball court, but we if our group doesn't grow, we might prefer to pay a bit more and be closer to the river and facilities.

In the past, I've noticed that those who come to a POF event with a member usually sign up the very next week!!! (I swear, it's not a cult! )
