People think of me as niaeve,innocent,head strong,fuzzy bunny,bad speller (wich is true)mabey even people think I started studing this yesterday,which is fine,I have no desire to "toot my own horn"So Ill meditate and study,sing their song's,and dance their dances,as I truely beleive that our gift is the freedom of spirit,If people do not agree with that,then I just honestly dont know what to tell you.....

Posted: 6/6/2005 7:06:29 AM | Smoochiepooches! You're such a bad ass! But your mask slipped and I detect that the humour here is begining to emerge. It's only possible to take things so seriously before they stop making sense.
I only have a sec, but the info I shared was meant for smootchie. She's flirting with stuff and she seems to be pretty hell bent about it so I put a spin on my recovery process to see if it would fit. It does, but it's a lame framework and totally not my style. I'm far more into finding the dove-tail between metaphysics and Quantuum mechanics. Alot of energy and intelligence is going into string theory right now, so it's looking good.
Socal, since you were wondering, the alcoholism that I was working through was inherited behavior. I could've gone into treatment and gotten medicated and allowed 'experts to stifle my soul', but i'd read books about native american approaches to these ailments, and chose to approach the situation as a shaman. The substances are viewed as allies not demons. I'm pretty leary of the dogma that comes with the various religious metaphors, which is why i usually steer clear of 'em. Too much drama! Anyway - I have renewed my affirmations and will stick with the metaphysics.

everything in nature there is a positive and a negative.
This is true, only to a point though. Energy is inate, it is us humans whom colour it in whatever fashion they see fit. Two people in two differeent frames of mind aren't going to see eye to eye on the energy that there 'using'. Someone might interprate a foriegn energy as evil, and react badly too it. When the Spanish first came to South America they eliminated the Aztecs for that very reason. They saw they imagery of snakes and associated it with the 'devil' for obvious reasons. They did not care to understand how the Aztecs might have interprated it.
emotional level
Emotions govern everything almost everyone does.
Why, different diety holds the energy needed to manifest your intent. Diety often chooses you.
Man gave birth to the gods, not the other way around. Gods are like a frame work of human emotion. Take Ares for example. One could call upon Ares in time of war because all attributes of war are attributed to Ares, not because Ares creates war. Gods are like allegories of our own emotions.
If I find myself with a fetish for a certain god or goddess, I tend to look at how that god is viewed by most of the people around me... I was suprised at how acurately the allegories between what I was feeling what the mythology was. However I do not believe this because this deity picked me.. More or less I probably subconsciencly picked him or her. There often greek gods for me because I am most farmiliar with them. And you seem to agree with that assesment as well;
You research and find the deity that speaks to you
The date and time were set for infiltration of the energy sucking vamps. I guess we were making to much progress in our community !!
So there's idiots that have too much free time... This is common in every fascit of life. However believing they were doing what they did because 'you made too much progress' is a rather conceited way of thinking. It was there mental problems that brought them there, nothing more.
If you don't understand the power of White Light you should really start trying to. The consequences of the Dark side are just as great !!!!
Good and evil are both allegories. But, more existencially good and evil have a symbiotic relationship, needing each other to thrive. My only solution, don't 'grow' white light or darkness... Allow them to fight it out on there own, and just sit back and enjoy life. | |

Learning to tame ones addictions, espicially if they are an outside influence is one thing, and an admirable on at that.
Inviting or adopting an addition meerly to attract and manipulate a entitiy is a fools errand. Its like saying "garsh, ill go out and contract aids becasue it is so garsh darn neat to have to take pills".
Yes, we have all types here. As far as you stating things like the warnings and kiddy pool, perhaps you have been spending too much time with your addicted spirits. *cough* attention vamp *cough*
Everyones take may be different and unique. I find sympathy for the demonics and angelics, they were around first, did their job, and got replaced. The ones you are exploiting are the ones that left their post and are desperatly trying to evolve and keep pace, or they are the abandoned creations of man. I have no condolances to you if you get burnt in your practice, but then again, you may not be quite as hostile as your first post potrayed.
Still, exploiting a entity to your own means, I find the practice distastefull. It builds negativity, and then others end up having to clean up the results you contribute to. Perhaps there is a positve I do not see, or perhaps you only see a positive when there is none. Interesting discussion eitehr way. | |

Goetia:is the 1st book and is like a catologe for demon's
name's, color's,imagery,symbol's etc published be John Weir (John Weirus)
as the "Praestigiis daemonum" in 1536 where he gives no demonic seals
and demon's are invoked by a simple conjuration,not the elaborate
ritual's of the Lemegeton.
Theurgia Goetia:This one is like book 1 of "Trithemius Steganographia"
although the abundance of spirit seal's are not found in Trithemius
the few that are found match exactly or at the least are very simular.

Probably the most important thing to remember is that Wicca and Satanism/Demonology
are two Very different and seperate things
Satanism and Demonology "can" use parts of Wicca
But Wicca should not, and indeed does not, need to use either of the others
For your own safety, they should definitely be kept seperate, unless you are
prepared totally for the unexpected
The unexpected, is something very difficult to ward against.
This is especially true in a group or coven, because of the differing personalities
Wiccans have no "need" for Satanism or Demonology
Wiccan "power" [if I may use so loose a term] lies in Nature.
Satanism and Demonology are the antithesis of nature
...Be Careful.. Be fruitful.. Be Happy

Most people do use so called magic to use them, but it is Natural magic
Because most of them are benevolent, there is very little possibility of Harm

He Will be unhappy about this
He May decide, or be forced to work for you
He Will want revenge/payment for this
"Magick" where it uses Demonology is an extremely hazardous life/death style
To assist your life you only need to use 'Natural' 'Magic'

Demonology, Is the study of Demons in history, religion and purpose. It is in no way manifesting the energy of demons. Unless you get into exorcism. Which in this class we will be having lectures from 2 catholic priests and 1 rabbie who perform exorcisms. We will not be mustering up the demons. Just being explained the process with ancient sigils, etc.... Keep in mind that Demons are fallen angles. I was brought up Irish catholic with a fear of the devil instilled in me. Several years ago I had a demon come to me. It was not a very fun experience. I also have a tendency to absorb a lot of negative energy, I have had to learn ways of sheilding and protection beyond your standered ways. I am mainly taking this class because of my past experience with demons and to learn ways of protection. I am a pagan that only follows and manifests the white light. You do however as recently pointed out on this thread always have to be prepared to tangle with the darkside.

Personally, I havent been able to find enough on lore regarding the fall, but what I can gather is that 1) they were the 'blessed creation' first 2) man was created, and succeded them as the apple of god's eye 3) many were pissed, some left their posts (demonics) to fend for themselves, the rest did not (angelics).
Now, I wonder, what of the creations of man? The forgotten patterns of spells unmade and elementals summoned and forgotten? | |
