Posted: 4/8/2008 8:36:00 AM | Well folks, with the buzz getting bigger with FishStock 2008 coming up, its time we gave you some more information to help you plan to be here with us and enjoy this awesome night!!
Below are Room blocks for hotels in the area.
The reservations are under Fishstock 2008:
1. Quality Hotel and Suites - group number is 102526
580 Bruin Blvd.
Woodstock, Ontario, N4V 1E5
Phone: (519)537-5586
right off the highway, starting with a block of 25 rooms.
Release date of the block is May 21, folks can still book between that date and June 21, it's first come first serve at that point.
rate: $98.99

2. Super 8 - (519) 421-4588- folks need to book with this local phone number.
There are two types of rooms available:
12 non-smoking rooms with two queen beds at $105
15 single queens at $95
Release date is June 2nd to book
Folks have up to 48 hours before check in to change or cancel, check in is 2pm.
They usually have some kind of breakfast stuff there for free, but Tim Horton's is nearby as well!

There has been some talk about camping as well. I have looked up the site and information for the campground that was mentioned. Apparently its approx just an $8 cab ride from campground to Good Time Charlies.

I've heard some folks are looking to carpool and looking for rides...
If you have room in your vehicle and/or need a ride...let people know here...
With the price of gas right now, sharing the costs would certainly help :)

Remember you can still book for the same price after the release dates, if rooms are available...

There are folks looking for rides and sharing accomodations...let's help them out.
If you have room...why not fill up your vehicle by bringing someone/people, share the costs of gas is a big help to all I'm sure at the price these days lol

From the East -
-401 to exit 238b - Woodstock
-End at Good Time Charlies.
From the West -
-401 to exit 230 - woodstock/sweaburg rd
-Left onto Sweaburg
-Right onto Dundas st
-end at Good Time Charlies
From the 403 -
-403 West
-Merge onto 401 West
-Take the HWY-59 N exit, EXIT 232, toward WOODSTOCK.
-Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NORWICH AVE/ PROVINCIAL ROUTE 59/ CR-59. Continue to follow PROVINCIAL ROUTE 59/ CR-59.
-Left onto Dundas St.
Those who need directions to the hotels...should be available when you book as to which exit they are close too | |

From the East -
-401W to exit 238b - Woodstock - this takes to you Highway 2 West, which becomes Dundas Street once in Woodstock, just ride that in until you are downtown and look for Good Time Charlies on the left.
OR
- stay on the 401W to exit 232 for HWY 59 N, toward WOODSTOCK
- follow on that road into town, you are going towards downtown
- turn left onto Dundas Street (Hwy 2)
- look for Good Time Charlies a few blocks down on the left.
