It's not that complicated. Young women are generally better looking than older women.
^^^^^^^^^^Hahahahaha...bullsh*t......youth doesn't always mean attractive.
i have seen plenty of 40+ women who are dead set babes..
I guess some women may get jealous of the younger women due to various reasons..

Some women can't handle someone younger or prettier then them, I guess its what happens sometimes in life. There is a sense of threat. One batting of an eyelash towards someone elses husband could break up a thirty year marriage leaving the woman nothing but a pot to puss in. Her sense of security all tooken away after years of investment.
It can and does happen but I'm not out to steal anyones hubby. Women like this should be offering wisdom to yougeons like myself, not hostility. Just remember, they were once young as well. | |

Posted: 4/10/2008 5:56:07 PM | SOME women are definitely jealous, haters. And SOME of those jealous haters are older, while some are quite young. Some are over-weight and hate slim women. Some are shy/nerdy and hate vivacious women. Some are sexually repressed and hate sexually expressive women. And so on, and so on.
Bottom line, some people are insecure and instead of focusing on making themselves attractive to men who might be into them, they focus on the men who are attracted to women who look different from them and boil with jealousy and ill-will towards those other women. Actually I think a lot of people are like that, though fortunately not all.
I see the same thing in men who compete with each other in the puffy chest, bump shoulders passing on the sidewalk, corporate viciousness, "joking" ridicule, and other more male ways of competing for women's attention. There is less of an age issue with men, but some: skinny smart men like to put down jocks, low IQ men like to put down intellectuals, and working class men hate the rich fat cats. It's a sad aspect of human nature at its worst. | |

why r we responding? same as u, because it pisses us off anyone can be that stupid on this issue. its actually not being stupid, men just dont know how we work so they assume we r competitive. sure, some women r, but most r just down to earth and w a good head on their shoulders - we dont hate one another, we UNDERSTAND each other better than men do, most times, so why on earth hate on 'my people', those that get me the most?
for example, a woman will understand why am in love w my perfume collection, and how i can never have enough and why i prefer investing in re-usable bottles or fancy French designers. my gf will instinctively understand why i prefer thierry mugler over a ten dollar ride aid perfume, and she will suffer w me during tales of brazilian waxing, then giggle w me when talking about benefits and times i got to share tales about.. lol
if anything, am learning from an older woman, and i have plenty as friends, and have some things to say to a younger one, from my life experience, and have friends of younger age also.
we women love one another, i would not make up my mind on that issue based on a few insecure women one is bound to come across in a lifetime.
same w u guys... just because some men r total idiots, and some out of those billions in existence are bound to be, we don't assume all groups of guys thrive on c*ck blocking or putting each other down | |

something year olds. The only way they are going to get that is if the gal is into money and he has alot to offer, or, a very rare occurence.
I laugh becuase my daughter who is 24 and gorgeous tells me stories of older men
coming after her and she is totally disgusted . She goes EWWWWWWWW!!!!!
I laugh. I guess the old guys don`t care that they are repulsive. I myself would not want to be viewed as repulsive. But I guess women think different. | |

Sociologically speaking, men usually date younger women as a power move...As being older you are generally better off financially and thus a younger woman is less threatening. It is similar to the same reason that you often see high paid executives dating lower food chain employees.

With younger women and younger men, they all seem to think they know it all and have the answers and there is more difficulty in communicating with them. I know from my experiences having dated younger men, and the youngest three siblings are 22, 24, and 26. Just a different time of our lives.
I have a 29 year old girlfriend that I have known for about 3 or 4 years and we have discuss dating experiences. She suggests that we both don't date under 35. I told her men start getting mature and direction at 28 and that if I met one like that I'd still date younger. But, yes the younger crew hasn't had the obstacles of life and a real look at reality and the world out there, therefore they are highly confidant of their views. I know, I was there. And, yes at 34 I am way more experienced than that of a twenty-something. I still think I was a pretty bright kid in my 20's, but like many people say, "If I only knew what I knew now..." I would have made different decisions than. As they say "life is a journey..." and it takes obstacles and experiences to create the person you are today. Your friends life and experiences appears to have created a very insecure and jaded women. Unfortunately for her.  | |

We could have great conversations and They were very good looking. As I got older I noticed that many women just were stuck. Some could not handle "upscale" clubs for instance Non adaptive. I go almost everywhere and seek companions that can do the same. Younger women, are not always comfortable because we in America live in a very ageist society. With lockstep values, I think this is the basis of the problem. I prefer women who are healthy and into healthy lifestyle with a bit of edge. Their age does not matter because each person's experiences are different.. There is not "power" play; just play and the fun of being with people that one enjoys.
Yes "looks" are important to me and so many "younger" women look like they have one foot in the grave and are so unhealthy that I am appalled! I think Many women see others as competition so they try to make "rules" to force PC compliance. I used to work with a man who was 74. I had never seen so many women attracted to a man. Young,old in between they all liked him. Women would even follow him out of stores. Likeability is the key.
