Posted: 5/6/2009 8:35:50 AM | Really it is each to their own. I do not mind a man with a couple of tats but that is it not body covered and women with tats are not my thing. Just as piercings are a no go except in the ears. Not those big hole type either. Again I strongly say that is just my opinion you like it and want huge holes all over your body go for it but remember those wholes will become larger as you age.
As for the Tats what those tats look like when you are young and your body has its elasticity looks one way but when you loose that and the skin sags it is another. I have seen those that have them and trust me it does them no favors. I recently saw a older woman or I should say she looks old and it looked anything but attractive. She had eye piercing, tons of tats and ear pericing had to laugh because it looked so silly because it did not suit her and yet to me it was sad.
Would I hold it against someone no it is their body, do I think it attractive heck no. Would I date someone with total body tats and piercing NOOOOOO but that is not a concern because they would not want to date me either.
Printer I agree tongue piercing does affect speach and it is soooo hard to understand what someone is saying when they have one.
Having said the blurb up top I did think about one tiny tiny tat on an ankle until I realized that would change shape as I aged then thought better of it. | |

Posted: 5/6/2009 11:12:30 AM | body art is cool and i think people who age do not give a ratz azz of how others percieve the choice because it is a part of there personality and the memories and reasons for the tat outweigh the notion of others approval of how that tat changes does not change the sweet memories of past that a tat can reward a pensioner because they have already made the choice to value their own individuality...some of us have scares we relate to so i imagine it is like the pictures tell ones story...kinda
that strength grows with the human's age not the other way around.....
that is my guess from knowing alot of colorful human's and recieving the energy of the story to why they decided to individualize to begin with...even at 80...
you are as individual as each choice you make and no person has the power to devalue that unless you allow them to.
as far as i am concerned it is the same chit with breast implants...when your 80 how ridiculous do you think you look..and who gives a ratz azz really.
if it helps ya find your spirit who cares....some of us don't feel the need and choose to accept what are mama's gave us and learn to love the who not the what.
i have ugly feet i could care a less if some freek can't accept that...all the better to kick his azz with  | |

I do feel that there is a point where you have to many... or some people put them in places I dont find attractive. But to each there own.. its a way to express yourself. It all has meaning for me.... each piercing/tattoo!  | |

I never said anyone was a freak just that in my opinion tats that are sagging have changed their shape and no longer look like they originally did. I personally do not like the saggy tats on grandmas or grandpas. THAT IN NO WAY SAYS THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE so get off your high horse girl and calm down.... sheeeeeshhhh don't be so sensitive...
perhaps you don't like red hair and don't want to date some one with red hair does that make you or the person with red hair a FREAK. the answer to that is no it is a matter of preference and opinion.
Agreed people can have stories to tell but they do not all have tats in order to have a story to tell. As for scars well I do not go showing them either. They are not a source of pride just tomething that happened in my life.... so scars should not to have a tat or not unless you are self conscience about it again a matter perference.
Ugly feet and other parts can not be helped as we are born with that but tats and piercings are something we do to our bodies. If that is a turn on to you good they are not for me.
so take a chill pill peep on that one hon btw people with tongue piercing are hard to understand because they have to accomodate that piece of metal in their tongue or lip ..... in my point of view if you can understand them good on you... not an attractive feature for me.
What a person does or does not do matter not to me it is your life, everyone has the same right to like, dislike, as we all have the same rights to medical, dental, law protection. That does not mean we all have to like each other or be attracted to the same thing. | |

I stand by my opinion and when others think their feelings affect that view it is their own weakness clearly...i would have tats if i had a different body...i can not push the envelope but do enjoy and appreciate the humans who do have the proper criteria for the choice.
It's too bad people are not alowed to share those pictures here..my friend got banned for showing her ankle i guess someone thought it was rude.
shows the ethics of some people with reguard to bodyparts
i think they are neat and i confess i put fake ones on or have had body paint
a good display of stuff like that is at the black and blue ball..lots of neat colorful folks go there. and the best part is you can go and ask about them and they are not all offended and put off by curious, that is the best place i have found for seeing cool folks and not putting yourself under bus for looking to close | |

Posted: 5/14/2009 10:43:13 PM | I think that tattoos are more common than ever now, and people for the most part are more accepting than ever too! But I still get the worst looks from people when i wear shorts and and a tshirt. I think that people should not judge a book by its cover and give people the benefit of the doubt.
I have a full sleeve on one arm, most of the other arm, both my legs from the knee down, my neck and a few others. They are all important to me and tell a story of my life if you will. I have a memorial tattoo on my shin of praying hands which was done a few years back when my brother died. As for piercings, i have my ear lobes stretched to double zero, my septum is done at 8 guage but i wear a retainer most of the time, and I have a dydoe piercing.
I think I meet more pierced and tattooed women than non tattooed because we tend to go to the same bars or frequent the same type of establishments. I don't meet many non tattooed or pierced women, not sure if they find tattoos attractive or not.

Posted: 5/15/2009 3:22:53 PM | I have to say I'm absolutely astounded at the reactions people have to my tattoos. It never even occurred to me anyone would care whether I had tattoos or not! Silly me. My tats are very personal, all custom designs, commemorating an event or loss in my life. I also consider them art, and often wear a skirt so that the ones on my lower legs are showing. I see tattoos I love, and others I don't care for. But I feel it's each to their own, and if the person likes what he or she has, who am I to say it's wrong??? Just my two cents worth!
Dead Ramones: Your praying hands tat is beautiful. I think it's a lovely memorial for your brother.

You know those electronic zapper things you can get (or at least use to get)? It had those pads that you attach to yourself with the wire. The higher you set the voltage the zingier it is. That's what it felt like to me. It was more irritating than painful. Although there were some spots that made my arm hair literally stand on end, and cover me in a field of goose bumps.
Then I did an impulsive thing. I got a piercing. The first hole was ok. But when the jewellery went in...OMG. Then the second hole...I yelled. I was dreading the jewellery...I was sweating at that point. Then he says, you are going to hate me. I'm not in the mood I told him. He had to squeeze the holes. Needless to say, I could have lived without that feeling.
My friend was in the other room getting her first as well. All she could hear were two loud swears.
After I took a look at my tattoo I was already thinking, what is the next one? By no means do I intend to cover my whole body. Maybe just a piece here and there.

I did pierce my bellybutton once, but she told me it probably wouldn't take and it didn't. I don't mind piercings either but not all over. | |
