I am rooting for Italy, obviously and think they are behind Spain right now.
Portugal will come out of group A. Czech not having Nedved blows but they have a pretty good quality team.
Germany has such as easy group in group B. I think they will win but perhaps after watching my team Italy make them cry advancing to the World Cup might have broken them to pieces and might not be able to advance hahahaha.
Of course Italy is in group C with Netherlands and France but top teams. I wish Nesta was still playing on that back line for Italy with Cannavaro but we will do with what we have. Interesting group. I think any 3 of those teams can pull out but I'm putting my bets on Italy, the experience from the world cup plus the talent and speed they have.
France nor the Netherlands has the speed to keep up with Antonio Ca$$ano or Alberto Aquilani. Plus having Marco Materazzi is another plus, piss off a France player and let them head butt their way out and lose. Hahaha.
Group D, Spain easily. Greece has a good squad but there is no speed there at all to keep up with the Spanish squad. | |

Posted: 6/8/2008 3:38:52 PM | i think spain has the edge this year, they seem to have the best overall team, although you could never rule out portugal because ronaldo has that kind of impact on a game that can only be compared to kobe bryant and michael jordan in basketball. though its been proved before that its not nessecarily the favourites who win, you cant count out germany, france or italy.
and personally i hope boruc has a crap tournament, gives us more chance of keepin a hold of him for next season :D | |
