| NEW FEATURE: Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 7/23/2008 8:56:16 PM | My song is not showing on my profile and it was there before.
What is wrong?
Post #1 of this thread reminds you to give your profile a chance to load your song or video/ Your video is there as of time of this response and post - Trappedonbayst

| NEW FEATURE: Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 7/24/2008 2:28:32 PM | Thank you. I am aware of that. However, i have been waiting days for it to load..actually over a week. And i have let my profile up for at least an hour and it still does not load. I know its there because my friends have told me such. However it is not visible to me.
Yours is as easily visible as anybody else's Music or Video. The Problem would be at your End, slow loading Issues, Internet Connections, etc. / Ticketoride

| NEW FEATURE: Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 7/25/2008 3:35:17 PM | All my code says is "Brand new" instead of playing the music that I placed on it... That's the Music you posted on your Playlist by the Artists called »» Brand New.
Locate other Tracks at Imeem if you don't like their Music.
|
That wasn't there on the profile at the time of posting - now it makes sense :) T/ »» OK

| NEW FEATURE: Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 7/26/2008 3:56:30 PM | I want to know how do I remove a song from my profile?
| Change Music by simply entering another 'Embedded Code' into Music/Playlist Section, or remove the Code to delete the Sound Track from your Profile. Make sure you hit < Save Music > when done. |

| NEW FEATURE: Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 8/4/2008 12:29:41 AM | | Hi, I''ve managed to upload 2 of my songs and I'm having trouble uploading more. I'm not sure if it is file sized or whether it's in wma format and not mp3. The difficult part is I have Vista and not XP. It seems to automatically convert the files from the disk. the disks, I have 2 types now. The original is from a Tascam 2488. The tascam cannot be read except with a Tascam interface which I don't have yet. So I have the tascam mp3 disk and also wma files and disk. Some of the songs are over 5mb,(most of them actually). All of my material is Registered with SOCAN here in Canada. The wma files contain all info about the songs, the tascam files do not list it. I try to upload more songs but it takes so long and comes up "upload failed". I've tried uploading right from the tascam disk but that didn't work either. I would like to have more than 1 song on my profile too. | |

Some of the songs are over 5mb,(most of them actually). File size doesn't matter, the maximum allowable Upload Time is 1 Hour.
The tascam cannot be read except with a Tascam interface which I don't have yet. Unless the interfacing Software is completely Mickey-Mouse or proprietary to prompt you to purchase Add-Ons, you should be able to export minimally to the WAV Format, stripping "Non-Audio" Information in the same Stroke.
All of my material is Registered with SOCAN here in Canada. That is only of benefit to the RIAA, so you can be quickly nabbed should you opt to share them on your Network(s).
Some purchased Music is DRM copy-protected in any of numerous Formats be they MP3 or WMA. Imeem has a Filter to prevent uploading them. Convert them to WAV, then to MP3, disgarding all Flags & Tags in the Process.

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 8/9/2008 2:00:10 PM | | You should allow us to code our own players...while I got the indeem thing to work it was a hassle and just another site I didnt really want to sign up with. Not only that, but this might be a nice little thing for most people using the site, I however know HTML and am very familar with flash players and writing my own .xml playlist...thanks! | |

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 8/9/2008 2:03:12 PM | | Oh yeah I forgot to mention...I like to host my own files, I really dont like relying on 3rd party sites. | |

| No Coding. You can only select Media and Playlists from 'Imeem'. |

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 8/11/2008 7:40:24 AM | Fair enough, I'm using Imeem, but I'm not sure your getting the point, I own my own website, I can host my own music and I have bandwidth to run MP3's for months at a time non-stop if I want, and I know html, flash players, and how to code my own .xml playlst. I'm only suggesting that in the furture we can be given the option to use outside host for our own players and playlist other than Imeem. It would be much easyer for me if I was able to do things my way. Anyway, its just a suggestion.
Thanks for you time, Sir.

Check the IMEEM Upload Help FAQ
There is no file type restriction for photos. For video files, imeem supports most formats but recommends .MPEG, .MOV, .FLV, and .AVI for best results. For music files, imeem supports mp3s only. For best upload and playback results we recommend that the music files have a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.
i can send thim a coppy of thim,,,who what how can i get this fixed ??? pleas help You'll have to deal with that site - i.e. contact them. We can't resolve technical issues between you and them, same as they can't help someone with a problem on POF ... the only thing I can suggest is if you're getting that error message from IMEEM, ensure that whatever you're uploading is in MP3 format as they direct. Also check with iTunes and Amazon as to what you can and cannot do with what you've downloaded/purchased from them.

| Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 8/12/2008 1:26:18 PM | the frist site is verry good but it dos not help me but it tells us we can down load 5000 photos videos and music on there i meem;s cool ill send mi info to your site ok thank you
Re-read the post above yours and contact their technical help - it has nothing to do with POF if you can't upload a file to their site - no need to send anything to us - Trappedonbayst

| Plentyoffish Music using IMEEM - How To Use Posted: 8/16/2008 9:32:28 PM | all mi songs are fromazon.com and i tunes store. Your Purchase does not give you any Rights to share them publically. In Fact they are probably copy-protected for exactly that Reason. Just convert them to WAV, and then to MP3 ... then upload to your Imeem Profile.
