To purchase songs from a playlist, play the desired track in the playlist. Then click the Buy button in the bottom left of the media player.

Not all songs will play in full... depending on whether they have permission from the artist or not, corect?

So... even if I were to upload my own copies of songs that are not playing in full, they would still be cut off by their software, right?

Arghhh... I just spent an hour adding and readding songs from different sources, because I did not realize that the problem is money making...

I just recently tried to add "I still haven't found what I'm looking for by U2 and had no such luck. This is what I put in the box

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to register with this website?

That's great but, it keeps putting that horrible sample song on there. Where is that box in MY profile on imeem? I don't have one where my music is. How do I put some Ozzy on this sucker?

HELP PLEASE! I'm getting nowhere fast with this uploading music thing. I'm trying to upload a song from my Itune library. I've dragged the song on to my desktop and uploaded it from there but it keeps saying "we didn't recognize the format." What am I doing wrong????

Thanx, but when I download off the Imeem, it only plays 30 seconds of the song. I already paid for the song on Itunes; does that mean I have to buy it again on Imeem?

hanx, but when I download off the Imeem, it only plays 30 seconds of the song.

Material which does not have the Artist's Consent for Release can only be played for 30 Seconds. If you are logged into their Site, they will play in full, minimally those you have uploaded, but only those who while logged into their Site can listen to them in full.

What I have noticed so far, both Users, the one who has Songs on his Profile, as well as the Listener have to be logged into their Profile at Imeen to hear any full Length Song, unless its an Artist/Label Giveaway. But that may change again, as Things are still being tweaked.

See here:Profiles: Music/Details

I already paid for the song on Itunes; does that mean I have to buy it again on Imeem?

You cannot directly play Audio Files from your Computer, nor upload them to POF. You have to play Imeem's Music, although you can
upload your own for play, but they still follow the 30 Second limit if you are not logged into their Profile over there. POF only has a Profile Link for the Music.

THANKS LOVE THAT WE CAN HAVE MUSIC...... WOULD LOVE TO FIGURE OUT THE AUTO PLAY... ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Seems the embedded Code entered into the Profile's Music Section discards the "True/False" Parameters, although the "Autoplay" HTML
Tags work for the Forums and E-Mail, but Users cannot post or mail them. Seems the Admin has disabled, or left that Function disabled for the Time being.

i got it playin but just got mates to look and they cant see it just a big empty space???

Sounds like its loading slowly, which would be the Case if your were on Dial-Up or your Internet Connection Speed is slow otherwise. Make sure you have the newest Version of Adobe Flash installed. Deleting your Cookies & Temporary Internet Files along with a re-boot wouldn't hurt either. I'd recycle the Cable/DSL Modem next if you are on Hi-Speed Access.

I tried this by typing in the name of a band and accidentally put a whole load of tracks on (all by the same band).
I followed the "Help" and inserted the code from the imeem page where it was showing a selection of songs. Hey presto, all the songs by the band were available to pick and choose on my profile........ A useful sneak around if that's what you want but I only wanted one song in particular!!

Seems to be a good selection and a nice addition!

In fact, by having a little more of a play around, there are ways you can add an entire playlist (either yours or someone elses) onto you POF profile in the same way as I detailed above (tried it with a playlist of over 1000 songs). Somehow I feel that is a little OTT though and might get us in trouble with the admins/mods!

Doesn't Matter how many Songs you have, as the Playlist Window is always the same size, be it 2 Songs or 2,000. However with that many Songs, I doubt its much good to anyone, as the slightest
movement of the Scrollbar is gonna rocket over a couple Dozen Songs at the least, thus not very User-Friendly. Further, it would take far too long for the Playlist to populate that Viewers might just move on instead of waiting for a Minute or Two.

Loving it!
Please, please though, no auto play. I should always be the reader's choice whether they want to listen to the music on your profile. There is nothing worse than suddenly having your ears assaulted by unexpected music!

Of course, just thought it was a useful tip for those people wanting more than one song on their profile. The 1000+ playlist was an extreme (albeit true and completely useless) example. I would think for around 10 tracks it would be useful but much more than that you are going to get a lot of disgruntled visitors to your page if they have to wait an age to see what tracks you have chosen. One of the reasons I stuck to just one song.

Perhaps it might be worth including the "you can have more than one song" part in the help guide? Of course you can tell me where to go if you think it's a bad idea

Make sure your SpamBlockerUtility running on your Computer is not blocking Plentyoffish nor http://www.imeem.com

Further, you have FunWebProducts, Simbar & Adware.Simbar.100 Malware on your Computer under Internet Explorer.

Make sure you have the latest Version of Adobe Flash installed.

I inserted the embed code for the particular song that I wanted and nothing happens. Is that what I was supposed to insert, or do I insert the whole embed code displayed above?

Thanks!

Not at this Point, as indicated by the Admin in the first Post.

No. Wouldn't work anyways, 'Imeem' has to be the Source. Further, YouTube Videos are their Property, plus they have a hefty Slate of Copyright Infringement Suits on the Go.

wow..cool beans! I saw that on a gals pro and clicked on it to see what the heck it was. lol I thought she'd broken some major profile rules. ...until I saw another profile like that. Then I came here to see what the hell was going on.

I know what I'm gonna put up..think it will be Buffet? lol
Prolly just wait and have Pandy do it for me though. She'll do it in 30 seconds and it'd prolly take me four hours to figure out how to do it. yanno?
