| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 10:34:28 AM | | I love it anyways, even if it is just one song. It's a great addition to my profile, it's just too bad you can't post more than one song from various artists. | |

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 10:34:39 AM | Thanks, I got it. A beautiful smart and sexy lady explained to me how to do it. It was a snap with her instructions. This is cool great site. | |

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 10:46:01 AM | Very cool. I've loaded a song to my profile...and though it takes a while on dial-up...the White Stripes are currently adding tunage.
Great new feature. Two thumps up!

A beautiful smart and sexy lady explained to me how to do it. It was a snap with her instructions. There will be a tutorial coming up step by step how to create Playlist at Imeem sometime in the Future.
I see no buy option on the lower left of the imeem page as described (while the song is playing in full). Some Music is donated by local Artists or released for Play/Download by the Record Label free of Charge, remake of Songs where Intellectual Property Rights have expired, etc.
I've loaded a song to my profile...and though it takes a while on dial-up. Makes no Difference in Speed listening to your Song(s) on your Profile for those who have High Speed, as all they are doing is clicking on a Link really which connects to Imeem.com
i put the code in my embed but it didnt work how do i make it work? Follow the Instructions to the Letter in the Links below:
i can't get the whole embed code of any song, just the bit to where it says value which is the same for every song, please help! Just copy the Code directly from the Song or Playlist 'Textbox' at Imeem. See Links below.
I only hate that some full songs only play 30 secs on mylist
i copied it and i pasted it. the song starts mid way through and then ends. when i review the embed code only a portion of it shows. Copyright Issue. More about it in the Links below.
I got it up and running, half the battle was finding the code to copy and paste! Study the picture above! Take your Time to study this Thread. Most if not all the Answers have already been posted, because many Users post but don't read the Thread.

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 2:38:20 PM | Spot on!! Worked like a charm. The only hiccup is that the "auto-shuffle" feature can't be disabled. I think this might be imeem's problem and not PoF's, though... the embed code seems to be a little screwy in how it manages shuffling.
I was a little bummed before that I couldn't put in a link to some of my music - thanks for providing a solution!

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 2:55:50 PM | Aw... No need to be sad helpless Earthlings... If you go back and read the beginning of this forum and follow the instructions carefully everything should work.
Personally, my favorite headache is also the 30 sec play time on certain songs I want, so here's a few helpful tips I've discovered:
* As far as I can tell there is NO way around songs/files with a limited 30 sec play time! That particular song/file is pending approval by the artist/label or someone other than you. Even if you create a free IMEEM account/profile (to create playlists..., etc.), there's no switch you yourself can enable... so you could possibly be waiting 50 years or more, and that would kinda suck.
I experimented by uploading music from my PC to my IMEEM and though it plays fine when I'm logged in there, it still only plays for 30 seconds on my POF profile.
So, you're best bet is to try to find different sources for the song you want and hopefully find a version/rip of the same song that has either been approved by someone out there in outer space somewhere who cares, or, something deep in the bowels of the song/file's properties has been altered enabling it to work.
To know whether or not the song/file you've selected is going to play for only 30 seconds or full length on your POF profile -- I find it easier to have 2 browsers open, one showing your POF profile, and the other logged into your IMEEM (free account required to create playlists). As you add music to your playlist on IMEEM, clicking "Refresh" on your other browser automatically updates the playlist on your POF profile and any new songs you've added will show up -- assuming you're adding to the same playlist from the code you initially saved to your POF profile. If you then find a song you've added is only a 30 preview you can simply go back and delete it from your playlist using the other browser where you're still logged into IMEEM.
Also, the code does change and is much shorter after saving to your POF profile and there's no need to re-enter and save the code unless you want to change to another playlist you've created. EXAMPLE: Adding songs to "Suzi Q's playlist #4" has no affect on "Suzi Q's playlist #1" if she still has the code from #1 saved on her POF profile.
If you've done everything right and you're seeing an empty white space at the top of your "about me" section, relax and give it a few seconds to load.
If you're still experiencing technicals and would like some help, drop me a note, be specific and I'll be more than happy to help you.
Lastly, I'm not sure why, but my player is on "shuffle play" by default even though I never checked the box for that option, though can manually be set to play all tracks in a row, etc.

| Plentyoffish Music. Posted: 4/17/2008 3:26:49 PM | I think this might be imeem's problem and not PoF's, though... the embed code seems to be a little screwy in how it manages shuffling. Yup, its at their End.
* As far as I can tell there is NO way around songs/files with a limited 30 sec play time! I have found a Number of Instances where both Users, the one who has the Sound File on the Profile, and the Listener of that Music File, where if both Users are logged into both POF & Imeen Profiles, the full File plays. This has nevertheless been eratic, so nothing concrete so far.
I experimented by uploading music from my PC to my IMEEM and though it plays fine when I'm logged in there, it still only plays for 30 seconds on my POF profile. There must have been some experimental Changes yesterday, as a Led Zep Track played full Version for most of the Day, then later, the 30 Sec. truncate Job came in from that Point on.
So, you're best bet is to try to find different sources for the song you want and hopefully find a version/rip of the same song that has either been approved by someone out there in outer space somewhere who cares, or, something deep in the bowels of the song/file's properties has been altered enabling it to work. Yup, can become a long tedious sorting Process for just 1 friggin' Song.
As you add music to your playlist on IMEEM, clicking "Refresh" on your other browser automatically updates the playlist on your POF profile and any new songs you've added will show up -- assuming you're adding to the same playlist from the code you initially saved to your POF profile.
