Idyllic, after you go to Edit, empty the space where the Imbed Code is and then don't hit Save Music (I don't see a Delete button), just go to the bottom of your profile and click on "Update Profile." That should do it.

Strike that, Idyllic (sowwy Leona Hun). After clearing the Embed box, you need to hit the "Save" and "Update" buttons to clear the code.

If you don't "Save" before hitting Update the code will not be deleted.

Idyllic, when you go to EDIT PROFILE, delete the Imbed Code and right next to that click SAVE MUSIC even though it's blank.

Then go to bottom of page and click UPDATE PROFILE.

Mo, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

I tried that and the imbeded code wouldn't go away. I try downloading music and all I get is some stupid piano solo on that damn player... and I can't even get rid of the player!! I'm So frustrated I followed all the steps and it's useless and I am stuck with a 30 second piano solo on my profile!! I feel like deleting my whole profile from this site! All I have met have been clingy needy damaged women who are far from who the appear to be in their profiles anyway... Ok I"m venting too much, Sorry.

Imeem is a music sharing site, with songs/videos that can be played and linked through their site "only". In other words, you cannot download songs to your own computer for free. If you try, you will be directed to a screen with the option to pay for song(s) using either iTunes or Amazon.

You can "upload" songs to your account from your own music collection on your computer. As such, anyone on Imeem can link to your songs and play them through Imeem, but can't download them.

Imeem changed its user-generated video policy on June 30th, 2009'

If you created the music or video it has been removed.

I meant albums or CDs you have already bought or own, not created. I just uploaded a
cassette album last night so know that still works. In the past weeks I've uploaded
vinyl records and CDs from my own music collection without any problems. Maybe
having a VIP acct makes a difference?

User uploaded videos did go away, but I never used that feature anyway so really
didn't pay attention since the change in policy never affected me. You can still link to
videos Imeem provides, though.

Make sure you're copying the code in the "Embed" box in the Imeem "View" of a particular song or playlist.

The Imeem code should start with < div style="width:300px;....etc.

Then paste that into the "Imeem Embed Code:" box on your Edit page in here. Once done, you have to click on the "Save Music" AND "Update Profile" buttons to make it appear on your profile.

Note: once the Embed code is saved it will revert to code that starts with http://media.imeem.com...etc. on your Edit page in here.

Changing your zip, city, and country status is all found on your "Edit" page. Once changed click on the appropriate update buttons to save.

Hello,
I am trying to post a full version of a song from Imeem to my profile. I have logged into my account in Imeem and uploaded the song to my profile there. I click on the song to play it and copy the embedded code to my POF "Imeem Embed Code:" field. When I copy it in it looks like this:

River Flows In You - Yiruma

When I save the music to my POF profile, it becomes this: http://media.imeem.com/m/o7Ctz5Q3fk/

It is my own music, I am logged in, but I still can't get it to my POF to play the whole song. What am I missing?

Thanks! Leuke
