Posted: 8/10/2009 8:07:13 PM | If you just uploaded the song to your Imeem profile I've found it takes Imeem some time to "screen" it for copyright issues. They must do this for every song, regardless if a user uploads it or not, because it's happened to me, too. If not, they still may be doing something behind the scenes. Eventually it should play full version for other users, as long as you're logged onto Imeem I believe.
Btw, I'm playing the full version right now. I just had to open another window by clicking on the "Play full song here" line in the Imeem window on your profile. | |

I have uploaded my song into Imeem and have a profile. What is confusing is how you create a link in the profile page that takes you to the song. I have cut and pasted the text above and put it in the box and saved, which then turns into something else, but that is all that happens.
Also when I play my song, it doesnt start from the beginning and I can only hear 30 seconds of it also.

Posted: 8/13/2009 7:46:05 PM | Hello. I went to IMEEM and created a NEW playlist, dragged and dropped the song into the created folder. When I went to double click on it like I've done in the past to get the code, it comes up with a box now to either download the song or use Amazon.
What gives? Has the step AFTER creating the new playlist changed????
What am I doing wrong????? I can't figure it out and, I don't want to tear my hair out over this....
Thanks for any help to help me trouble-shoot this problem.

Edit your mail profile.
Remove all the code from the box near the top labelled "Imeem Embed Code"
I think you have to click the "Save Music" button.
Be sure to click "Update Profile" near the bottom of the page. | |

Posted: 8/17/2009 12:39:18 PM | Yeah, it is nearly impossible.. Imeem sucks a major fat one. It looks like maybe it's not so hard.. There s an encylopedia writen on the FAQ area here.. I am about 6 hours into it.. It's not that hard if you just follw the 7,493 steps.. find the hidden jewel.. add here paste this.. go out in the yard.. find a magic mushroom... OR ya can just give up it looks like... Imeem blows hard.. hardest site to work ever created by anyone... without a doubt..  | |

about 5% of their music vids works
the other 95% will not play due one reason or another.
It's a shame, as the sound quality of the music that does play is great.
Anyway - I've given up on that site as a total waste of time.

Posted: 8/22/2009 2:12:50 PM | Yep, you're right, I don't see it on your profile. I see my playlist, though, so I know the feature isn't broken. If you have a working Imeem playlist or song (on their site) and it's not showing up on your POF profile, then one or two things are happening.
1) Remember to copy the proper code from Imeem (Embed code, NOT the URL).
2) Make sure you paste it into the "Imeem Embed Code: " box on your POF "EDIT" page, then click on both the "Save Music" and "Update Profile" buttons on the page.
Check to see if the Imeem player loads on your profile. There could be a delay of a few seconds so allow the process to proceed before clicking off the page. | |

The red x in the top left corner isn't a clickable link either. I even tried songs I know have worked before and still get the red x in the top corner. I noticed this happened after pof did an update when they changed the favorite viewing stats (which I actually like now). | |

Posted: 8/24/2009 8:42:02 AM | Friday, sometimes songs that only play 30-sec within the profile play full length when a person clicks on the song title, which opens up a new window. There are some songs that just play 30-seconds, though. There seems to be no rhyme or reason, just something with Imeem.
