Posted: 8/23/2009 8:55:52 AM | | I have used and make my own CS for 5 yrs now.If you are going to make your own you must use distilled water ONLY.Any other water used like tap water and the silver will combine with the chlorine and make silver chloride,this is why peoples skin turn blue because they used water that was not distilled.Also use a low dc voltage for a small particle size(I use 4 v dc),smaller is better,it may take longer to make but the results are better.If the CS you make is not crystal clear don't drink it. | |

- If the chlorine is a culprit, can't you use a tap water that has been sitting out for 48 hours allowing chlorine to evaporate?
- What kind of silver do you use? A standard piece of jewelry 925 kind?
- How do you make it colloidize (hope that's a word)?

Posted: 8/23/2009 9:37:28 PM | | I buy my water but would prefur to make it myself from RO water since the store bought stuff comes in a plastic bottle.Can't use tap unless it's distilled at all,theres allot more in tap water than chlorine that is no good for making CS and just as toxic as chlorine if combined with silver .The silver has to be pure too.99.9999 and everything you use to make it that contacts the water has to be cleaned and rinsed with distilled water,no soap.The container must be glass or crystal.I just use the basic electrolyis method with 4 v dc,works fine, 4/6 ppm.I take 1 shot full a month as a preventative and give the rest of the small batch to my pets.I like using CS myself,I used to get sick every season,colds,flu and pneumonia twice but not for 5 years now.I have tried gold(difficult to make,high voltages needed),copper,zinc and titanium(each has there own benefits).but just stick with silver now. | |
